raising the draw weight of a survival bow safely

hey im trying to make a bow but it keeps breaking what wood should i use

@pyrosui Almost any hardwood should work like hickory, oak, maple, etc. Though unles its a really poor wood like pine, most bows break due to improper tillering, flex your bow often and make sure it does flex all in one spot, this is called a hinge. If this happens take material off the bow above and below the hinge until it bends properly

i think that this will slow down the bow because you actually tied abundle bow at the back of your bow however this way your bow will shoot much heavier arrows
