The first time I heared it on the radio my father told me that guy was actually in Managua when her wrote this song, and kept going back. My PLN/ PLC ( Partido Liberal ) father has always hated this song in general for patriotic reasons but he actually loves this type of music and likes Guy Lombardo. I don't really think it's offensive but I'm a Reagan-Republican Nicaraguan " gringo negro " like my Mom says, so what do I know?
