Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in cammo wrap,& leopold scout scope,& muzzle brake

hey mate, I was wondering if it is at all uncomfortable to shoot with the scope so far forward? I would think that if you're used to having it much closer to your eye, it would take quite a bit of getting used to, plus the image would be smaller.

Quite interested in the rifle and I know that you can also mount the scope directly over the breach in a more standard way, but that somehow defeats the purpose a little bit. Was wondering about your thoughts on the subject

@SCGili710 not uncomfortable at all..if anything,its a little more ``front``heavy..the image is smaller because the scope is less powerful..i guess its a give and take thing.. its a scout scope.``loupold``..its eye relief is perfect..you are correct about the scope over the breach...i tried it that way and was nervous about getting a black eye from the kick..as of right now i have sold this rifle..while it is nice,i found that it just was`nt my cup of tea.

@DEROCK72 how did you get the recoil down that much?

@suferwill808 i installed a``good iron``brand muzzle brake...it makes a huge difference
