How well does this work as of now? (1.1 I think)?

@LukeExtraordinaire It works not too shabby however I do believe it has become more efficient to find a double mob spawner.

nice, would be nice to see how you make the main water flow in the middle ect though or did you do it the same as the sides ? also how many blocks is there inbetween each canal

i made this the exact same way as you shown but when the mobs die some are throwing their loot ontop of the dirt and not into the water so its just sitting there...

@pipuk3 where ur lava trap part is make sure u dig one down then replace water underneath so there is no dirt gap between lava and water. Mine works just fine ? Btw I have a way better design coming up so u will enjoy this 1 alot more productive.

@hellslastworrior i mean the little dirt part you dug up to show the mechanics, the mobs swim up the lava , die and it gets thrown ontop if that dirt where the signs are , but i fixed it by just making another lava further back and letting the mobs swim up the first one and die and having the 2nd one as a backup incase one gets through.

@Mirrty102 I'm game for helping if you guys want to. I know, I was able to build the 3x3 then managed to perfectly center a 4x4 on top. its pretty cool in my opinion. OOH and for the 3x3 when there's an intersection of 4 black pieces, I put a glowstone, so it illuminates the cube even at night.

@Mirrty102 How big is the cube going to be? I've built a 3x3 (inside a 3x3), meaning there is 9 pieces to a square, 81 pieces to a side, not including the black pieces in between.

how does this do with slimes? i happened 2 build mine at the level slimes spawn and its got slimes spawning. i havent actually tested it yet though

@bobthedude56 haha i have no idea mate. XD i knw it will work vs big slimes but small ones maybe not XD dont matter eh, they arent helpful :P

The reason that the creeper "could fly" was because you put a ladder and they climbed up and well yea killed you xD

@FREAKout59 because digging a system of falling canals andm such would be pointless and take up far too much room. where as using signs it enables the flow to be one 1 level reducing the amount of space wasted but yes meaning a tad more effort going into the build. I am most happy to give that extra time. I think usign ladders might work but i prefer the signpost way.
