I've been wondering for more than a week -- what the heck did Apolo do with his hand (behind Julianne, on the sofa backstage)? Make a rude noise? He pulls a face, Kym looks at him disapprovingly and Joey turns and laughs.

I wish people will get over the fact that joey was in a band .If the show thought that was unfair they wouldnt put band members in .Apolo has more fans than joey and that what makes the diffrence in this show .the demographic for the show are 18-25 and thats around apolo & julianne ages. so the have more of a connection with the fans. apolo's freestyle was alot like mario of last year.

Actually, if ONLY the judges' scores were taken into account, Apolo and Julianne would have won. Or ... if ONLY the viewers' votes had been counted, they still would have won.

I also disagree with your assumption about the show's target audience. It's the middle-aged people I know who watch this show every week. THEY are the audience A&J appealed to most. The women I work with (avg. age 45) couldn't wait to see A&J dance each week. The 18-34 group would include the NSync fans, and a whole lot more viewers at least knew of Joey than Apolo.

Joey has over 4 years of experience, he was in a band. He far exceeds the others with stage presence. Looking at the clips, Apolo's posture and footwork were more smoothly executed than Joey. It is over, APOLO was the WINNER!
