  • This is the best version... Sixteen coaches long!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY FARROKH BULSARA!

  • 3 Dislikes? WTF!!???

  • There are two guitars . Who played the rythm guitar ???

  • @Salse7rito There's only one guitarist and one guitar being played here. Brian's guitar is custom built from scratch, so he can do things with it that most other guitarists can't.

  • @Salse7rito It's all Brian May, but he loved to layer guitars in harmony in the studio. Almost all of their early tracks, and a lot of later ones, feature layered guitars in harmony. But it is all Brian playing.

  • This is so much better than the version on my edition of "Queen". Rough, raw, and bluesy. Though, I stand by my belief that Roger or Brian on lead vocals would have made this a bit more "authentic" in the blues department.

  • @fras888 Lez Zep there biggest idols?? The Beatles. Hendrix. The Who.

  • the two of most sucesful bands in the world and truly the greatest to ever walk this earth, both wernt just contempt to do just rock they wanted to do everything and totaly dominate this music world and they are the only true band?! that stuck together from the very begining rite to the very end. this song so closely resembles three songs frm their debut album before queen came together, an album what inspired the members in queen

  • this is queens tribute to their ultimate idols LED ZEP, both freddie and brain have stated many times how influentual led zep was to their very beginin, brian stating that if it wasnt for them ther wld be no queen, this song totaly represents and mirrors everything that made led zep great, brains brilliant guitar (jimmy) rogers druming so simular to bonzo, deacy sounding well himself much better thn jones, and ofcource merc doing a great imitation on plant!!! to of the best bands without doubt!

  • the closest queen came to blues rock!!!!!, the red special is not quite the same as a gibson guitar of jimmy page when playing blues... but its the best sound ever when brian plays his guitar the QUEEN rock style... oh awsme bass playing once again by the one and only John Deacon

  • i love this tuneeeeeeeee, on the album queen as bonus !!!!

  • freddie was so talented

  • great music & video

  • love, love it...they can do anything!!! Queen rocks!!!!!

  • I don't use the following term lightly......but that was FUCKING BRILLIANT!

  • COOL BLUES TUNE

  • this version has different lyrics. I actually like these lyrics better but i like the way freddie sings the one on the queen II better

  • sfjfdsjknfdsnkdfsdfd

this is why queen is my favourite band in the whole world.

And I have never heard this song before.

    :D :D I LOVE IT!

  • the only time i saw them do this live was when I attended the filming of we are the champions video and the guys gave us fans a special little concert included in the set was this gem.

  • DNKEYOK: ^jk turning green with envy*

  • Is there anyway I can get this version as an MP3 file?

  • The low down dirty skank. Freddie, you are better off without her.

  • awesome, only queen could make a record of this quality and not release it as an A SIDE!

  • OMG! Have never heard this before!! And I am a diehard Queen fan.

  • Great!!!

  • Why did yall thumbs down my comment???

Led Zeppelin is a blues band so I would of liked them to do a cover. What's wrong with that????

  • It made good sense to me, classicrockrockz. Stand by it.

  • WOW..Freddie the best at everything

  • What can I say? Oh my...

  • Led Zeppelin should do a cover of this song

  • Sixteen coaches long. Mercy.

  • Queen kick Zeppelin arse fullstop. Even at the blues.

I have a version of this where Freddie sings with a falsetto most of the song what is it from?

  • I dont see why us Queen fans feel such a need to defend Queens blues chops. We all know that they did a couple of stints of blues now and then. It is commonly accepted that led did blues very well, not Queen. But its late on news of the world shows a blues dimention led didn't have,

no use arguing you bunch of heteroes - both bands were great!

    Freddie 4ever

  • merqury5, nice thoughtful comment. lovely to see Peeps popping up in places like these.

  • I think that youtube is an fantastic place to learn and enjoy yourself if you've got the right attitude towards it. No sense in coming here to pick a fight with someone when you can indulge in a lovely discussion about something you share with new people you've never met.

This DaveRFuller guy can marry my sister!

  • Listen to my melancholic blues....

  • As far as the blues u should try some Jimi Hendrix.

  • :) Have tried. Loved it, still do. :)

  • @m86ichael the original Seven Seas of Rhye B-side :)

  • @m86ichael It's probably the album version from Queen II

  • @alkalineburner it was not on queen 2

  • @m86ichael Queen II. Great album!

  • @m86ichael shut your mouth.

they're both great bands!! but blues is more zeppelin's than queen's

they gave it a try sometimes with excellent result, but nothing like Since I've Been Loving You

but I couldn't ever imagine led zeppelin having epic lyrics/concepts or complex harmony as queen's.

  • @m86ichael The Seven Seas of Rhye B-Side version, probably. This is the most well-known version, being on the Seven Seas of Rhye single, the 1991 US Queen II CD and the 2011 Queen II CD.

  • love the overdubbing from brian......totally rocks.Classic Metal at its best

  • Las mejor melodía , la escencia de May, me enloquece!!!!

  • amazing.........this is MUSIC....

  • Freddie does the blues: really great! (nice the way his voice just 'lays on top of the instruments')

  • love this version :-)

  • Excellent !!!

    J.

  • One Of The Best songs they ever made.

What a Shame that it doesnt released on a regulary Queen Album

  • Saw this song performed live at New London Theatre Drury Lane ....1978 I think, free concert for Queen Fans after video filming for We Are The Champions.... classic... now this should be on an album, this was well rehearsed!

  • 77, actually, on the 6 October...At this version, Freddie's vocal sounds a much better that on b-side. This number was inspired by the track 'That's How I Feel' by Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.

  • Low down, dirty, and blue. Thanks Dave for giving us a copy of the lyric, recording date, etc.....those are much appreciated. Thanks for loving Fred so much.

  • OH MY GOD, Queen doing a traditional blues number! How great this band was, really. It´s just hard to believe in their skills, in any style they´ve tried. All of them are great in this but Brian is particulary brilliant. God save the Queen , and I mean it.

  • Great

    like all the queen songs!!!!!!!!!

  • This wasn't on Queen 2 - in the UK anyway. It was the B side of Seven Seas Of Rhye. This version also has a different lyric.

  • i do belive this is the BBC verion..

  • This IS the BBC version :)

  • on the cd did freddie sing it? i couldn't tell he sounded sooo different and it was pretty kool sounding. his awesomeness just radiats

  • I LOVE this and the b-side version of this song XD

  • I love that picture at 1:08! that's so cool!

wow thanks for posting this I've never heard this song before I don't think!! cheers!

  • Queen was so awesome!! Freddie Mercury is amazing!!

  • cool... thanks for sharing

  • like led zep

  • Low down, dirty, and blue. Good job, David!
