I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

@wopstar99 BMW dont make V6 engines, only straight 6.

@wopstar99 to be honest with you man... get a 5 speed instead of your automatic one. They are i6 not v6 man. If you stick with your auto you can always change your exhaust, put in a nice intake like a K&N for example...

Danke ;-) also den blauen habe ich nicht mehr, aber der modifizierte Auspuff hat jetzt mein kollege mit der schwarzen AC-Schnitzer 3.0Liter limmousine...

Geändert wurde folgendes: Auspuff entfernen, dann öffnen und alles ausräumen, danach zwei Rohre einschweissen und den topf wieder zuschweissen ;-)

ist aber für den normalgebrauch zu laut, daher habe ich diese "rennflöte" verkauft

so technically its a straight pipe exhaust from cat-back.

that sounds really more refined than mine. i did the same thing except i eliminated the muffler it self and had 2 pipes welded and extended out.

yes, i think it is a little bit louder on the Euro-M3 with 321hp

It is the original end-muffler, i open it and then i put all the pipes with labyrints aut of it, then i put just two pipes in. and after i close the muffler. its not legal, but great sound ;-)

Hey you, its just the end-muffler... i did open it, then i put all the shit out of the muffler, and then i put some pipes inside! Its just a original exhaust, the only difference are the pipes without these stupid labyrinths ;-)
