  • I think in this song you can hear the pain in is voice, RIP Nick drake this song is amazing.

  • You can hear the birds chirping to his music . . .

  • Best version....

  • no, just telling it as i see it. once you connect all the dots, its hard to reach any other conclusion. i just have to figure out what a "politics of psychopathy" will look like from the perspective of trying to save (the rest of) humanity from twisted, conscienceless evildoers and their misguided followers....

  • nice video.... in an ideal world we would all laze around in picturesque little villages with thatched rooves, surrounded by farms and countryside, playing guitar, talking philosophy, smoking quality dope, visiting with friends for soup and song and home made ale or wine. everything slow and home made and chill. of course, we live in a world dominated by psychopathy and greed, so best not get any silly ideas. google ponerology.

  • @horse69outside has life killed your optimism?,trouble is i agree.

  • Thank you for this. So much raw emotion in this version - it's lovely.

  • This song makes me weep. beautiful

  • ブライター・レイター聴いた後にニコのチェルシー・ガールかけると綺麗に繋がる。'70、'67と年代的には逆だけど。

    ジョン・ケイルも参加してるし。

  • the best nick drake song, period.

  • I love tripping down the chords. Teenage years were the doldrums but this song helped. I'm in love with it.

  • wow almost doesnt sound like nick in some parts....goes to show what a hard song it is to sing...but the guitar work is unmistakable. so much emotion too...so stunning

  • makes me feel so good

  • raw and briliant a voice that imparts pain, sorrow and hope

  • pure eloquent a great piece of work to listen to

  • this IS the best version of this song, and my favorite. Recorded in his bedroom by himself...the studio version with the John Cale strings are a bit overwrought.

  • @transmittance Agreed. This is the one I was looking for. Beautiful. I think Bryter Later really suffers form overproduction.

  • @beardedbrother i completely agree, the guitar gets lost. that's why pink moon is his best album
