I'm not sure this was the reaction RaikouRider was hoping for. XD Personally, I think most of the people here are too concerned with how hard Maxx songs "should" be or something. Ingonroing the obvious drop in difficulty, I think it's generally an intelligent edit. I think you could have added a teeny bit more throughout though, especially in the middle section.

You are very good at that, and I can agree that your Fixx is a lot more fun to play. I have played Faxx on Heavy before, and I still get D's... -sulks- And it makes literally no sense. At least when it slows down to 100. And another thing... I don't understand how people can play with two hands... I've tried it, confuses the hell out of me... It's way easier to play one handed, and it takes much more skill. Anyways, my rant is over, continue watching this video in peace.

The 8th notes at 400 bpm in the opening follow a high pitched sound with the low pitched tempo, which makes it hard to follow. The notes follow the piano near the end. I like your chart though, except it looks a little easy.

The gallops are a little weird, except towards the end. I think it's supposed to be following a faint low pitched sound that repeats every 200 bpm (1/8 note or blue; I guess Konami considers it a gallop there). The part where it slows down to 100 bpm also feels a bit weird in the original.

I could make a FaxX edit that's MUCH harder than this with all the steps making sense, but then it wouldn't be DDR anymore. It would be ITG. Konami's steps blow. They make absolutely no sense. The steps to the Maxes as they came out were all overly difficult, but I can match up every single arrow in Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, and The legend of Max to SOMETHING in the song. FaxX I can't do that with.

I understand my edit is not MAX-worthy, but what exactly are the BS 8th notes at 400bpm going to, and what are all those gallops going to? Nothing I can hear. I just wanted to make an edit where every step WENT TO SOMETHING.

I'm not exactly a MAX expert here! XD), but perhaps just fix the galloping, and leave the huge stream in the middle alone (the one with tons of 12th steps/one-third steps).

If you want my opinion on what the steps are following (aside from the obvious beginning and ending), The huge stream follows up nicely, but the first stream set after the beginning sort of leaves us hanging. As well as the constant galloping in the middle. If those two were editted, I'm sure it'd be a MAX-worthy FixX.

I'm going to tell it like it is. I HATE half of the FaxX steps. The beginning, first stream set, and end make sense, but the constant galloping and random streams do shit for me.

Let's put it this way. Your FixX is very impressive, but unfortunately it is not too fit for a MAX. I will admit that FaxX Heavy is extremely hard (Good god, I nearly KILLED myself trying to do it for the first time.

It looks like an interesting edit that might fit in difficulty between Standard and Heavy, but definitely not superior. There's nothing wrong with FaxX Heavy. (FaxX Challenge, on the other hand, is gay, basically a FaxX Heavy ripoff with nonsensical changes made to it.) The steps are hard, yes, but they're not gay by any means. To answer your question, I think that FaxX is more fun then your FixX. Maybe you just find the original Heavy steps hard because you use one hand.

I don't see what the arrows are matching up to in the song. That's why I made this edit for one. And it has nothing to do with one hand. True, I can get a slightly higher score on index. But it doesn't mate that much of a difference. My best scores come with I hybrid index and one hand, I can almost FC that way. And thanks.
