@mishielai Cork screw was terrible. we went on a halloween night and kept going on it again and again- running through the empty queue lines. They really did used to bash your head from side to side.
They must be planning something. That big tent is still there in the X Sector isnt it? The ride has gone because they cut up the ride steel into pieces, but you wouldnt pay a few grand to put a new tent on it. I hope they rebuild it.
@jacksite2007 They are planning something. At the TH13TEEN Event on 19 June 2010, they said the Black Hole tent could be the site of new development for the 2012 season. However, Alton Towers are currently focussed on building SW7 so the Black Hole project might get pushed back to 2014.
@HarleyQuinnHaha1 Thats good to know. What is the SW7 by the way (and where is it planned do you know)?. Coz I presume it would be a horror ride if its in the spooky area etc

well i only took the video of my son and 6 year old grandson.........i have never been on it myself, but my grandson enjoyed the ride and came off it smiling so as regards pain....i think when your hanging upside down it must press on your legs and groin ......many have said this......but it carnt be too bad ....just look at my grandsons face....he enjoyed it.
Kid's might want to give this one a miss- i went on it when it opened in 2001, i was 11 and it was the most painful ride I've ever been on. When it hang's you upside down it's torture on your thighs. Now it doesn't hurt as i'm bigger.

Just a bit of advice for this ride - It looks a lot scarier than it is! I went on it twice and i am not a thrill seeker and i usually hate this type of thing, If you want the easiest time on it go on row three or four, the swings aren't so bad then, and when you go backwards, it's quite relaxing believe it or not! The scariest thing though is hanging upside down, but it really is fun! :D x

it will be full...every dayd it gets full.....people from london, manchester. scotland all come on day trips.....so you will have plenty of company.
