I just discovered Sunny Day Real Estate January of last year. It was because i went to a Paramore concert in Seattle and Hayley said "We wouldn't be around if it weren't for one of your own- Sunny Day Real Estate." I had heard a few songs, never really gotten into them until January. When i did, I really really fell in love. I was listening to In circles earlier today and i started crying. Why? Damn this was a great show! I had to drive up 4 1/2 hours to go, and my buddy's transmission blew out right as we were leaving town. We ended up taking my ride, which was a total piece of shit, but we made it and went straight to Liberty Lunch. This was the first time I got to see SDRE.

I was at this show also. The next week the Austin Chronicle had a cover shot of the front of the club of me and my ex-wife standing in line to get in to this show. This was one of the few shows that I've seen that gave me goosebumps. Man, those were the days. RIP Liberty Lunch.
