  • dude this is the shit right here...i listened to it like 15 time and im still listening to it

  • thats sexy stuff man

  • 0:48-1:03. Ahhhhh that bass part is sexy

  • @tpalms24 Music is not graded based on the school grades. A music level of 5 would be considered rather difficult. Many high schools play around 3 to 4 type music so this would be an advanced high school level piece. And I'd love to see a 5th grader play those 5's during the bass split. Hahaha

  • We played this last year lol

  • 5th grade are you serious if fifth graders played this then they're kick ass

  • the basses are sick in this love this man

  • Doesn't Purdue play this?

  • The 2nd line on the tenor part is sooooo cool. Like I love the style you use with the tenors. Freaking awesome man.

  • can i have mp3 file?

  • bases get off

  • @ryaneblilbill the basses couldnt be off...its a computer program not an actual drumline playing it..

  • ola qke tal me podrias decir conq ek programa haces las partituras

  • 1:08 most badass snare lick!!

  • How can you get your cadences sold like that? Mine is the video response.

  • @FARSairsoft no silly it's a different kind of rubric

  • Grade five!? Are you serious? U mean elemtary kind of five!? Most elementary schools don't even have a drumline and this is the kind of stuff my highschool plays! I can't even picture a fifth grader playing the cymbals on this...

  • How did you get the shouting sounds on VD? Or did you record that seperatley? And do you use VD with Sibelius?

  • this is one of the blackest candences ive heard. i love it.

  • Anyone have a video of a live performance for this cadence?

  • i go to a black school, dis da only DCI candence i lyk, thats cuz it got a nice groove to it...n that bass part is real clean

  • the bass music is really hard

  • @Trapmaker677 thats how i like my bass music

  • @BennytheBass hell yeah

  • good god. sounds REALLY freakin awesome if you ever managed to learn it and got it moderately clean...but good god that looks tough as all get out. our drumline is currently in its second year (idk our grade per se, but id guess about a 1 or 2) and i just saw a 6 (i guess its a double lolly? idk its real name) on the bass drums that was split? and what i think was 32nd notes, also splitting? good lord wouldnt that be fun to play

  • Is this Brockton Conwell from MPS 2010? You were the center snare for A Group, right?

  • Hey this is a sick cadence, our line purchased it about a month ago, once we get some time we will get it recorded and put up online as a response for you.

  • Error message:

Your computer just had an orgasim

  • What program do they use to write these? I'd love to write some myself

  • if you want a real selection go to Drumline music.net

  • do you have anything with a latin feel?

  • @danielisawsomeyeah ummmm maybe try latin lover :D our line played latin lover grande as the opener in our cadence series. its pretty beast

  • We have a drum cadence named pickle its 7 minutes of pure awsomness i wish it was on youtube though.

  • @thatscheesy12 i guess wateve

  • copier bitch

  • plz check out my vids

  • this is gorgeous

  • this sick

  • skankssss

  • Why do so many cool cadences have such idiotic names?

  • this is awsome man

  • what drum corps did you march for?

  • I like it, though i don't think I would make it a grade 5.

  • Never get tired of this song

  • i hurr some eggbeater splits in the basses!!! those are the shit when you get them right. my corps had some in our show last year

  • dude, this year in my show were splitting 16th note triplet partials and is sick.

  • crazy splits for bass dude

  • hey, i'm also in a marching band in delaware, your very talented. and so is your battery. i really like all your songs, especially " spicy cocoanuts ". Very good !

  • ...

    this is a computer recording

    ...

  • Do you only have Grade 5?

  • very nice!

  • awesome, sounds alot more complex for a grade 5 composition, im impressed! keep up the sweet sounds x

  • There's some nice grooves happening here, spot-on bubba!

  • How come this price says 12.00$ and the website says 15?

  • My publisher agreed to increase the pricing to match to other cadences available. You will find that the music you receive will be well worth your money.

  • and yes it is! i bought it, you are a god at composing!

  • @christiansmithalone BAIT AND SWITCH!

  • But if you're using Finale, I recommend turning your Human Playback to the Marching Band style and then editing it so it has no rhythmic accenting (or whatever the term is they use) and no interpretation of ornaments, then go to TG Tools and apply Smart Playback so the diddles don't sound all crunched and jacked up. If you knew all this already, sorry for wasting your time.

  • I was digging it from the start, but those fivelets in measure 22 made the whole cadence for me.

  • kewl..

  • Overuse of triplets just sounds like mess to me. Its a great cadence, just too many sixteenth note triplets.

  • man ur talented

  • this one of the best cadences i've ever heard

  • basses are awesome :D but i wana play tenors lol oh well HOTNESS DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was hot!=]

  • Awsome. It looks like so much fun to play!

  • Thank you.

  • thats great man i have a cadence called Spice haha

  • That is Sick...what program did you use to make the notes? I use Finale 2008

  • Thank you. I also use Finale 2008.

  • Just finale 2008 or VDL + Finale?

  • VDL and Finale.

  • @drumnasty1

    He used virtual drumline

  • @SKSnare No he didn't

  • Sweetness, love the snare part at 0:16 . VERY VERY GOOD.!! :)

  • so how long does it take to make these cadences?

i cant even look at those parts *headache*

  • It all depends on the cadence. If it is for a client, where I have a deadline, usually I will pull something out of my head and put in together in a week or so. However, most of my cadences stay in my head as thoughts for awhile until I have a chance to get them into my computer.
