Good but it looks like it's on rails, I can't see real karting physics (sliding, placement) etc.

You're right. There are 2 points about that.

1) Matt Wall was a very smooth driver

2) It was 1.5 years ago! :)

You'll be happy to know the physics have been completely rewritten and now all kart control is possible, including some excellent slides ;)

why havent you guys updated the website in like 4 years or something and are you including kart tracks from western australia

One thing I notice that seems off is the steering input in real life versus the steering input actually needed to turn the kart. I drive karts all the time and it just seems off. The driver is giving way more input than would actually be needed to turn the kart, both on the screen and in real life kart situations. Am I wrong?

thats so wrong its not funny... any other kart racers out there spot the stupid amount of lock he has to apply to the wheel? you just dont turn the wheel that far ina real kart. seems to be something pc games can not get right

is this just on pc or is it gunna be out on consoles to? If it is just on pc what are the minimum requirements for the game. when is the demo coming out i really wanna give it a go

pc only at first. Min specs are undecided but it works fine on my laptop 9600 64meg card so that's about as low as we'll be going. There will also be an 'ultra crappy' mode if you are desperate to play on lower end computers :)

Also, will the Canberra Kart Track be modelled and in game?

How long till the beta?? i have signed up. I have a 92 inch HD projector and a G25 wheel to run this already. Cant wait!

just seems a bit odd that you have to turn the wheel so much.. in a real kart you dont do that as you can see from the steering wheel in the game itself. but i bet thats customizable.

Yeah that was a configuration thing that wasn't setup right at the time.

If you buy a special steering wheel like a Logitech G25 you can configure the amount of degrees to the locks.

I was looking forward to tis sim but i really hope that you also can select a different view, without the "turning of the head/looking into the corner" simulation. That looks kind of strange.

Nice cabinets. Their wheel isn't forcefeedback but it feels really nice. Better than nearly all ff wheels. Pedals are great, no clutch. No can use your own normal wheel if you want. We had no trouble getting it to work with the game

apparently that guy is a karting champ and his laptimes were almost identical to his real times.
