The second song is just a trailer ditty from a royalty-free music collection. The game soundtrack is all chiptune :)

First to comment, the game looks sweet. What platforms to you plan to release it on?

The current plan is solely for Xbox LIVE Indie Games, but I'm open to other platforms (PC would be the next most likely candidate).
