I have a question: How can I move Opera icon to the home screen? (just like you have).
I know how to add new shortcuts from the given list (officially called “Widget catalogue”).
But my Opera shortcut is not in the Widget catalogue and I want to add applications to the home screen that are not in the Widget catalogue. How can I do that? Need advice.
opera is exactly what this phone needs. If you're going to use the internet on the N8, you NEED to get a different browser. That default browser sent me mad when i had my old 5800...it's the SAME right here, unbelievable.
MicroB would have been good to see instead, but I guess Nokia isn't really that interested in making a good smartphone GOOD.
And people say that symbian is dead?? Seriously?? Call it dead if you want, but atleast your battery life with nokia and symbian will last a long time unlike android giving you half a day and a few hrs.
@Christrapture The fact that you have to download 3rd party browser to get a good web browsing experience should say enough. Analytics says that Symbian will have a market share of 0.2% in 2015 so my guess is it will be dead sooner or later. They have inproved Symbian, but it's not enough to beat WP7, Android and IOS. BTW I have had an Android phone almost a year now and the battery has gotten me through about a day with heavy use like games, E-mail, web browsing and youtube.
@REICHSKE How Nokia hasn't produced a really "awesome" cell in recent years, and its stock prices haver really crashed, you know what, they also billed CEO , that was former MS employee. With Windows phone 7 series Ms surely Rocks.
