  • I do not wanna defiantly say it was Christopher hitchens but ima say i think it was, he said liberals pushed the rigs off the continental shelf and then pushed them a little farther and this is what you get. a bitch fit about the results of a bitch fit to a politically motivated government, that wilted to it.

  • BP's deep earth drilling was very risky and they already drilled deeper than they had permission to drill.

After the accident, massive damage and public disapproval, its perfectly reasonable to expect that BP would not be allowed to drill there again.

Thats why they didn't cap the pipe.

If they allow it to keep leaking dangerously, they can drill more without any public/government resistance.

Once they're pumping oil adjacently, they will cap leaking pipe.

    Simple.

    'Problem Reaction Solution'

  • There is another viral video showing that the cameras, supposedly fixed upon the new oil cap, are at the WRONG location, meaning that BP has faked the fix and that the real well is still vomiting into the ocean. BP has already been caught photoshopping propaganda. Can anyone verify this story?

  • oil hurricaines

  • You can't have free flow of oil when the weather goes south on you. That means sealing the well off when the ships have to boogie. Better for them to test it now rather than later. BP has done some unconscionable stuff, but I don't think there's anything wrong with testing the cap. You guys are going all Alex Jones over this and it just destroys your credibility. There are descent scientists and engineers working on this.

  • Politics is a subject that kills you on the inside when you see the horrifying nature of reality and the evils done because of greed and fear.

  • this guy is a goof.

  • could be a false flag...an asphalt volcano.

  • @Taxidriver987 I'm also leaning in that direction... after all... they are the masters of illusion.... they did an incredible job on 911... I'm sure they learned a lot of what and what not to do from that operation. Especially the power of a youtube vid and independent and alternative media. If this disaster is totally staged, this time independent media is unknowingly complicit by cooperating in the staged fear mongering.

  • one thing to say here: fuck capitalism

  • Never trust ever ever ever trust Esau, the truth is not in him !

  • They are not mentioning the cracks in the ocean floor that could blow more oil now that this cap is on. They will just wait until for that to happen then tell us.

  • Does Thad Alan have a Hitler stash?

  • The only truth about this event is nobody except BP and other insiders, know what the hell's going on down there. All this stuff, media, BP cameras etc... may all be smoke and mirrors... this may be a huge disaster, but with their ability to con through the media and manipulation of imagery, this may be a non-disaster.

  • @Probesoul The truth is though, BP got a waiver to not follow regulations and their unregulated well fucked up. This is the millionth reason Libertarians should shut up forever about the free market.

  • @Makron5 I don't like to correspond with people who think other people who disagree with them "should shut up forever".

  • @Probesoul Are you going to say getting rid of regulation would have prevented the BP oil spill? Because that's the Libertarian stance on EVERYTHING even the FDA.

The Recession? We should have removed Regulation! That's what caused it! -- This is Libertarians. You are going to tell me that this stance has any merit or basis in reality?

  • @Makron5 My comment had nothing to do with the Libertarians? This oil spill may be staged. Clean up workers are ordered to keep their mouths shut. Maybe because there's little to clean up. When you see clean up workers they will either be sitting around in the shade, or 2 will be in squeaky clean gear deciding who should pick up the little tar ball. This could all be illusions. Does this eel in the following vid look like it's dealing with a 70,000 psi gusher? watch?v=Gn1pTscl9Uo&feature=geo

  • @Probesoul I said fuck libertarians into the sun for their love of under-regulation and how 'free market capitalism' causes shit like this. And then you come back and say I suddenly have no merit because I say people who promote that insanity are full of shit and should stop talking because there's nothing good or useful coming out of their mouth ever if they are going to spout such nonsense from their insane ideology.

  • @Makron5 So what do you think is the solution? After all, regulation is what pushed drilling so far offshore to begin with. I don't see any libertarians saying we can't just drill on dry land where a leak would be very easy to contain, without having to work around the problem that the source of the leak is a mile underwater. Corporations SHOULD be responsible on their own. BP is learning the hard way what happens when they cut corners, they're paying heavily for this, and deservedly so.

  • @dunkelfier The solution was to not give a waiver for the regulation like what happened to enable this disaster and for regulations to be followed for safety. BP isn't the only one paying heavily. Why does the rest of the world have to pay for the bumbling of some rich assholes?

The problem of the rig was that it was not up to code and there were even waivers given for it.

  • @Makron5 I agree, BP should have to take responsibility for their screw-up, compensate people who were directly harmed by their irresponsibility (like fishermen who are out of work) and pay the cleanup costs. That on it's own should be reason why companies not cut corners when it comes to this stuff. Sadly, government is not going to be without corruption, and dont think Democrats will be any less suseptible to being bought off. Only difference is, they'll have more power while being corrupt.

  • @dunkelfier The real difference between republicans and democrats is that one is a fascist party and one is a corporatist party. Democratic Socialists are extremely rare in America.

  • One is a socialist-corporate party, the other is a socialist-people party. Pick your flavour.

  • @Rata4You Shit the socialist people party, too bad they'll never get elected since they piss off businesses who are needlessly taking government money and anyone exploiting the poor and middle class. God forbid we use tax dollars for anything like say funding programs to help the uneducated get an education and the tools they need to become productive and live a fruitful life like everyone else.

  • @Makron5 That would be a great use of tax money. Sadly, the way it works now is we give people who are uneducated/on welfare money to keep them going, giving them little incentive to better themselves. You can't create a system where people expect government to give them free handouts, there has to be a system that rewards ambition and lets people who become successful keep most of their money. Raising taxes to increase welfare checks don't do that.

  • @Makron5 Will you stop replying to me with your filthy language coming out of your hate-filled soul? I have no interest in what you have to say.... . thanks

  • @Probesoul I'm sorry that I'm angry about the state of the world. The fact that Big Business keeps rolling over normal people and that there's even a significant faction of people who are encouraging the rich to continue to trample over the middle class and squash basic human rights.

  • @Probesoul I'm sorry I'm angry, but look around you and tell me Israel's genocide, women getting acid thrown in their faces in the middle east, BP and Goldman Sachs getting away very easy, people being brainwashed into fascism, Obama failing to live up to expectations, the relentless attacks on education, Arpaio's sadistic regime in Arizona...etc. is not rage inducing in the least bit.

  • @Makron5 not interested and I don't trust hate filled people... so please... correspond with another.... thanks

  • @Probesoul Politics is about the only thing that really makes me angry. I usually concentrate on other things because of that. It's more about wanting the suffering and insanity to end. Also, lol you believe 9/11 was a cover up?

  • Bernie Madoff was offered up by his fellow-- yet, still free-- hedge fundketeers and Bear Sterns became the sacrificial lamb for big bellied banksters. Now, BP will be symbolically lead to slaughter-- takin' one for the team-- to prove to the public that "bad guys" can and will be punished. The problem is, in the realm which exists above where most of us dwell, the bad guys rarely get punished. They simply dissolve into other companies; and, at the end of the day, it's business as usual.

  • Pull the fuck outta oceans, and get better energy sources.

  • Concerned visitors to this video, please come visit us at the Facebook page of BOYCOTT BP, where are staying informed and getting active.

  • This cover up should be investigated! Esp. the workers that are sick!

    BPmakesmeSick (dot) com

  • EVERYTHING that BP is doing is about trying to minimise not the actual oil spill, but the numbers. Stopping the actual oil from getting out, if they could do that, well, that is a plus but not a priority. The main priority for them is hiding the oil that gets out.

  • I know kevin costner promoted his own oil clean up project but i feel like bp bought his device specifically because they knew it would be highly publicized so it could look like they were doing everything they could.

  • BP has been sinking in so much potential legal prosecution since day 1 or the well rupturing. The lawyers are working hard (as is their job these days) to find a way to absolve BP of any responsibility. That's the real reason why this is going on and on and on and on. BP have a website called talkstoppedlongago(dot)com. So why are they wasting time on discussions when they should be fixing this damn calamity.

Dear BP. Talk stopped long ago. Fix the damn rupture or face economic annihalation.

  • In the Gulf oil blowout it's been found BP was definitely overriding normal safety practice and disregarding Transocean's standard practice of packing the well with mud before sealing it.

BP also KNEW the "Annular gasket" was broken and wouldn't provide correct pressure readings but disregarded it.

Revealed in "60 Minutes" recent expose on the blowout.

My bet is BP will hang for this because they deliberately chose to disregard safety precautions

  • Wired Magazine, 6/15/10: an e-mail released by House Committee on Energy and Commerce, is one of many documents describing BP's risky, cost-cutting decisions.

“This has been a nightmare well which has everyone all over the place,” wrote BP engineer Brian Morel to a colleague. Morel wanted the company to use a “liner,” or sheath around the well that would keep gas from surging up the pipes and possibly exploding.

BP opted against installing the liner, which would have cost $7 to $10 million.

  • this shit should have been stopped within the first 3 weeks.

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n days not weeks. it's now months. they're not doing anything cos there's nothing anyone can do. this was an engineered stunt pulled by the very top of the food chain to hold the rest of the world ransom to a few major companies. watch who starts getting rich off this. Good old Godman Sachs has been the 1st to rear their ugly head

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n I dislike BP, but I'm pretty sure if it could have been stopped that easily, they would have done it by now. All they care about is money, and they're losing it dramatically because of this.

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n It wasn't because there's a hidden agenda behind all this.....

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n how?? They had to develop the technology. There was no requirement for such technology because every problem is unique and unlike any other. If you remember, another gusher occured in the 1980's in the atlantic that lasted 10 months before it was stopped. 3 months is lightning fast by any comparison.

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n it should have had a way of stopping before it was a problem. Even three weeks was too long!

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n More like the first 24 hours......!

  • @DrMu5tCh3at2W1n how? do not know? keep pushing oil rigs farther and farther from the shore and this is what you get.

  • These are, or soon will be, the real people ultimately behind Keith Olbermans's and Rachel Maddow's scripted political commentary and Michael Moore's video selection: Board of Directors, Comcast Corporation.

Thanks, Michael, what would we do without you media guys.

  • BP is a JOKE!

    Glenn Beck is CRAZY!

    Glenn Beck is Silly!

    Glenn Beck is an Idiot!

    So is BLACK GLENN BECK!!!

Check out new EVENING NEWS video starring crazy ass BLACK BECK!

Just type this into your youtube search:

Evening News (FOX News Diss) - Macarone ("Black Beck" AKA Black Glenn Beck)

A must see for FOX News Haters!

  • IMO it's about time we should reform government so that who ever becomes the president is most deserving rather than by those who are best at winning elections. The problem with the balance of power in government is that only those are trying for government ever get to be apart of government. that means that only those who want power (often power hungry) will get power while those truly deserving of power (those who aren't power hungry) won't even get a shot.

  • BP's outrageous behavior continues. BP is fined on the flow barrels quantity. So they're shutting some of it off before it gets on the tanker where it will be measured.

It's interesting to watch the more conservative folks start to break ranks - as this vid shows.

Anyone who is surprised that yesterday's pressure cap didn't solve anything, have been using the wrong news sources. Start word searching "False Flag", "Staged", "Fake" Antmatter radio, Matt Simmons (for starters).

  • @macpduff ... and the BP shares go UP...

Even though only a little less oil is getting out, if any at all.

  • Why does this "Admiral" always use the pronoun "we" when referring to the actions of BP???

Sounds to me like Allen is planning to begin working for BP at a huge multi-million dollar salary as soon as this thing dies down.

Just another "regulator" who is owned by the industry.

  • @Richardgwm Excellent observation

  • @Richardgwm Because bp has to ask the government to clear any actions, ideals and what not.
