  • how about water , can it pass through the phospholipid bilayer by passive diffusion like co2 or through the ion channel?

  • @1403pies It moves via Osmosis, from a region of high water concentration to a region of low water concentration.

  • rgrggggggggggg

    Greetings from Serbia.

  • if antiport and symport transport proteins can be activated only by the concentration gradient of one or both the transported molecules and it does not need the consumption of ATP and therefore it is considered passive transport

  • Thanks for video.

  • is there just one channel for each cell in which all nutrients etc crosses over or can they pass anywhere through the ell membrane?

  • The cell membrane is embedded with many channels (integral proteins) like the one mentioned in 0:59 which act as doorbell receptors for specific types of nutrients to enter

    =)

  • Excellent. Thank you so much for this. Greetings from Chile, South America.

  • good animation, good explanation as well even though it sounds like the whole thing was read off the internet
