I knew Howard. Cops suck, maybe once and a while you can justify their so called presence, but i aint seeing it lately as I get older. they never stop crime, and they are a menace. What cops need to do is start locking up doctors who are killing us, and lawyers/judges who forge documents and steal peoples property. cops dont do anything except protect the corrupt. Period.

Then why hasn't anybody come up with a solution? The only thing the government is doing is giving the police more power over you by slowly taking more and more of your freedoms away every single day.

There are hundreds of new laws and by-laws passed every year. None of them are written to protect you. Most of them are written to give police more power. This results in increased police budgets for the purpose of turning innocent people into criminals. And more of your tax dollars FEEDING them.

This will never happen in Canada because it's a multi-cultural society. Canada knows that the immigrants of "today" come from war-torn countries where people are constantly scared of dying from genocide, disease, wars, etc. Europeans don't immigrate to Canada any more. Focusing on the weapon isn't what we have to do in this. In the 70s, cops were blamed for using batons and people dying afterwards. In the 80s it was positional asphyxia, in the 90s it was pepperspray, and now it's the taser. The common factor is people get excited, fight with the police, and die in custody. Study THAT, and don't judge the officers who are just trying to go home safe at the end of their shift.

Tasers are a very important aspect to the protection of law enforcement officers. these are an alternative to heavy deadly weapon use. However, in some cases, tasers can be lethal. I'm sorry for your loss, but i have seen tasers in action in the feild, and i can tell you, they are a very important part of my duty belt i put on when i go to work

Let 2 of my friend's taser you then for something trivial you have done wrong then as I am sure there is something, regardless of how big or small the crime then lets see how you would like to be shot with a taser.
