Ah, the Marth killer. It's aptly named because the edge of Marth's sword pushes pretty much any character that uses the shield right next to the edge while he uses the Dolphin Slash to get back on the stage and that character is pushed, forcing them to edgehog and not make room for Marth, killing him. A stupid way to die, but a useful way to take out Marth users.

I'm not so sure why he called it "Multi-Shine" the correct term is "JC (Jump-Cancel) Shine" (or at least that is the more popular term. To do it you basically Shin, jump, and then shine before you leave the ground...

You Shine, and then quickly jump. The jump will cancel the shine, make you touch the ground again to prepare for the jump, then you shine again.

Some people can do it multiple times, although I've only had four. There's a video somewhere of some guy doing 9.

@kiragumanyara This may have already been answered, but basically, to do the multi-shine without leaving the ground, you have to shine, jump, and then shine again before the character sprite (your character) actually leaves the floor. I think you have around five or so frames to hit it. You can do it by holding down and then mashing the shit out of B and Y or B and X.

your waveshining sucks dude, no offense and the drill kick infinite with fox is only an infinite if you short hop out of the shine, which you clearly weren't doing, also no good fox or falco player would shine into a SHL, there's really no point, shine is a close range move and SHL is a distance attack so noone would use them in conjunction

Multishine,Doubleshine,and JC Shine are all the same thing (but different quantity of shines of course). But I saw a good amount of mess-ups. Oh well, it taught some things to people none-the-less.

I went to a tournement of about 100 people in Smash Bros. (and placed 5th) and no one used any of this stuff. It's pointless to use unless if your opponent sucks. Believe me, I mastered falco's every move.

A lot of this is just to be flashy aka "Show offy". But some of it is actually useful like the light shield trick. Pros use it.

Or grab out of shine. I've seen PC Chris use it sometimes.

The "multishine" is more commonly known as jump-cancell shines. You simply shine, (continue holding down on the analog stick), and slide you thumb from y to b. It's pretty hard and you'll have to find the right timing but the result will be the jump cancelling the shine, and the shine cancelling the jump.

Thank you all for replying, the results of my survey are in! I interviewed 100 people for all over america and a bit of europe(im from Brasil)and they told me which SSBM fighter they liked the most! And without furher ado:

1 place: FALCO with 21%!

2 place: LINK with 19%!

3 place: SAMUS with 16%!

Tie for 4 place: FOX and PIKACHU with 12%!

5 place: CAPTAIN FALCON with 10%!

All the others character totalize the rest of the percentage: 10%!

You first do a shine, and since you can jump out of a shine, called a jump-cancel, you can automatically air-dodge into the ground (which is in fact wavesdashing).

next time edit out the clips where u messed up or where u didnt do exactly what u wanted (jumping shining while trying the tripple shine with falco, the marth shield ledge grab and then he gets back on to the stage)
