  • Was Jesus a pony? Did he own ponies?

NO. YOU CAN'T LOVE PONIES BECAUSE JESUS NEVER MENTIONED THEM.

    ...Your logic makes no sense.

  • oh! PLUS there's a huge difference between a gay person & a person who committed homosexual sin, whether in the mind or physically: The person who commit the sin repents & is aware that the sin was "sin" but desires NOT to sin. The gay person commits the sin, nourishes the lifestyle, ENDORSES it & demands to be accepted DESPITE the lifestyle. That works with the USA, but does not work with God. If adulterers, fornicators, murderers, child molesters, false prophets can't do it, neither can gays.

  • T. D. Jakes is a clown cause anybody who reads knows Ruth and Naomi were in-laws. As far as the whole video, that argument is by far one of the weakest out there. Any TRUE Bible studier knows that homosexuality is not a practice that will get ANYONE into Heaven. It is no different than murder, gossip, envy, vile passions, adultery, stealing, etc... Why is it such a huge debate? No clue, DON'T barely care. I just enlighten folks if they're sincere about making it to Heaven.

  • wow. just wow. this guy is a crazy fuckin bible thumper. Someone needs to bugs bunny him. ANYWAY, to the argument at hand... @Tetheas what you just said.

  • First of all, Jesus' sexual orientation is never addressed, because it's irrelevant, much like your argument. If "gay people can't be Christians because Jesus wasn't gay", then by that logic, only people of Jewish decent can be Christians. Not to mention ONLY men can be Christians. Also, if they're not considered poor, they can't be Christians either. If you seriously believe that gay people can't be Christians, fine, but don't try and argue this point until you find a logic that isn't flawed.

  • yes. yes he did. paul

  • Jesus had no relationships of a sexual nature.

Your proof that you can't be gay and saved is that there are no examples in the bible of gay or lesbian relationships, right? I just want to be clear that that's your only evidence.

Jesus accepted everyone. That means anyone who is a friend of Jesus has the chance to be saved. It's not your place to judge because that is God's place. God is our everlasting, perfect, and ever-loving judge and He alone chooses who shall be saved. Not you.

  • @LezBCatholic Actually Jesus was in fact married, He was married to Mary Magdalene, that they had a child together but this “truth” was covered up by the church for self-serving reasons. The pope saying Mary Magdalene was a prostitute is a lie and she was excluded from the Bible to make Jesus seem more "pure".

  • "Was Jesus a homosexual? Did he have same-sex relationships?"

Huh?? Unless you know something I don't know, I'm pretty sure Jesus didn't have any sexual relationships. Does that make heterosexuality immoral?

  • @swithincharottesburg again, exposing the WEAKNESS of the argument in the video. But plz see my comments above, that suggests a proper address.

  • @Purpose4Praise Thx for the reply, P4P, and I read of your arguments above. I'm afraid I find your arguments every bit as weak as the video. Provide some sources (other than "any true bible studier knows..."). Sorry, but there are many "true" biblical scholars who do not agree with your opinions.

  • @swithincharottesburg no need to apologize! You're afraid and in fact you're right, however, just as what is said in the video is right w/ an extremely weak argument, what I wrote stands though scholars disagree. The fact that people disagree with my "opinions" does mean my opinions aren't based on biblical truth. Question is, do you personally need references, so I don't waste my time? And what opinion in particular do you think "true biblical scholars" would disagree w/?

  • @swithincharottesburg you might want to start (and if you have common sense, end) right here: 1 Cor. 6:9,10 as well as Romans 1:18-32.

  • The devil infiltrates people with weak, corrupt minds, and manipulates them into thinking that God's creations (be they black, gay, left-handed, whatever) are somehow "wrong" or sinful". In reality, the Lord creates each person as He wants him, and clearly, God wants some of His children to be gay, black, etc., so who are ignorant men to argue with the Lord? He loves the gays, and that's good enough for those of us who follow Him. Of course, Satan's minions will never agree with God and me.

  • Another self-loathing, repressed closet case, making an absurd anti-gay video to help himself surpress his fervent homosexual desires.

    ((Yawn))

  • p.s. I stoped when you brought the Most High Jesus into this. Of course we know the answer...but it seems beneath to do this in this way. I applaud exposing evil but please seek God on how & what He desires you to do in regards b/c seems like flesh driven endeavor. May GOD bless.

  • Hey...these pictures are they neccessary?

  • No but he never talked about homosexuality negatively, in fact I do believe he said that those who were born eunuchs in their mothers womb were blessed. It's in Matthew! Other than that, Jesus never spoke against it, not even once.

thruway christians website will really help you out with this problem. Also documentaries called "Lord save us from your followers" and "Fish out of water" will help you greatly too!

  • I am a straight Christian who supports the church being inclusive of gay Christians. So I will answer your question with another, similar question. Was Jesus heterosexual? Did he have opposite sex relationships? According to the Bible and Church tradition, Jesus never had ANY sexual or romantic relationships with anyone. So Jesus was probably asexual. Of course, that is just speculation. Just like claiming that Jesus was ANY orientation (gay, strraight, bi, asexual) is speculation.

  • There are genuine Christian churches that don't agree with any of the garbage in this video. Amongst them are the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Presbyterian Church, the Metropolitan Community Church, the Universalist Unitarian Church and the United Church of Christ. Not only do these churches accept gay people, but, they, also, have gay clergy. There are congregations in the United Church of Christ that perform gay marriages.

  • NO MAN CAN GET YOU INTO HEAVEN SO STOP ACTIN LIKE YOU WORK AT THE TICKET COUNTER. THATS SOME STRAIGHT FOOLERY. THE BIBLE IS A COLLECTION OF BOOKS WRITTEN BY DIFFERENT AUTHORS OVER 1500YRS. ALL INSPIRED BY GOD. THE EQUIVALENT OF TAKING JIMMY SWAGGART, EDDIE LONG AND JOEL OLSTEEN AND TELL ALL OF THEM TO WRITE A BOOK SINCE THEY'RE INSPIRED BY GOD.I DARE ANYONE TO SAY THAT THE BOOKS WOULD BE UNBIASED. BACK THEN NOONE CHALLENGED A MANS INTEGRITY SO WHO KNOWS WHAT SCANDALS THOSE AUTHORS COMMITTED

  • I accept that as a Bible believing Christian I will be hated for unwavering declaration of God’s truth. As a matter of fact, it empowers me as it is a necessary part of suffering for the sake of the Christ. Jesus told me that since they hated Him, they would hate me too for standing with Him. I reject any assertion that because I call sin what it is: evil, nasty, destructive and degenerative, and I DO NOT love those who are participating in it.

  • The even sadder fact is that far too many Christians are taking down in the face of vitrolic homosexual activism, which by the way, has been adopted lock, stock, and barrel by the so-called "gay christian" movement. They are no different than the secular/political gay movement in their intense hatred of anything and anyone opposing their lifestyle choices. They just have a religious veneer. This utter rejection of truth in order to justify a sexual experience is not just insane, it is demonic.

  • I don't understand what any of this has to do with being a gay Christian. So what if Johnathan and David weren't gay, so what if Ruth and Naomi weren't lesbians.

And did Jesus ever have homosexual relationships? No, but that doesn't mean anything. He didn't have heterosexual relationships either.

  • Before Christ comes back Christian will turn against Christian and will battle just as the brothers do in the latter days the bible is extremely against satan and his works of having man marry man which is gay but you have the choice to turn away from that sin or end up like the prophets wife from Sodom and gomorrah along with half of the people who claim to be Christian and supposedly live lives like Christ. Read your bibles you can't be gay and also be a Christian Christ even says that himse

  • @Entertainment3210 Christ never says anything about homosexuality. Leviticus does (which was just a cleanliness law and I don't think it applies anymore) and Paul does in Corinthians. Jesus never mentions it.

  • first off gay means happy so this new modern gay stuff is out of porportion its just homosexuality we can't judge anyone folks we are forgetting the golden rule to love one another even its our enemy for we kno not what we do

  • yes the bible is the living word of God no it shouldnt be taken litteraly. the judgement is not for you to be made . the bible is a book about Gods love not sexuality those who teach of things they dont know much of and condem turning people away from God as a result of there teachings are sinning BIG TIME. a teachers job is to teach the truth leading people to God if this is done God will do what ever convicting he deems neccesary its simply not a mans job

  • @subfairy22... If You Believe The Bible Is The Truth? And A Man Is Teaching Exactly What Is In The Bible? How Could There Possibly Be Anything Wrong With That? Does The Bible Not Condemn Sin? Homosexuality In Particular!? 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13... There Are About 100 More! A True Believer Knows This To Be True! In This Here There Is No Half Stepping. That Would Make You Luke Warm, And Jesus Said That's A No! No! Now Tell Me He Did'nt Say That!?!?

  • @jasonjarmaalstagg Yes, the Bible is truth, but we have to recognize that there are some time and culture gaps. For example, the Bible says some nasty things about tax collectors, but that's because at that time, tax collectors were seen as usually very dishonest, greedy people. That's not the case anymore. Also, Leviticus says we shouldn't mix fabrics, which would be impossible to follow no a days! Timothy says women shouldn't braid their hair. That doesn't apply to us anymore. Braided hair...

  • @subfairy22...Perhaps You Should Spend A Lot More Time In Your Bible. If You Think The Bible Is Only To Show An Example Of Love Then You Have That Boot Leg Copy With People(satan) Walking Accross The Pages Blocking Out Passages! It's an Exploitation Of How A Person Should Strive To Live. It's Amazing How Some One Could Have Missed All The Passages Of Whole Civilization Being Wipe Off The Face Of The Earth For Their Disobedience. Guess We Should Not Take That Literally Huh?

  • @jasonjarmaalstagg (cont.) was a sign of prostitution. We can't take everything literally and apply it to our lives today. I believe (and it's okay if you don't, I'm just telling you my side) that homosexuality is one of those things. When it's referred to in Leviticus, it's a cleanliness law to keep the Israelites healthy and living. Being gay isn't a health risk anymore. The Greek word used in Corinthians for homosexual refers to boy prostitution, not a loving committed gay relationship.

  • did jesus ever say he wasnt gay. did he have a girlfriend well perhaps and perhaps not it is very easy to say it is so cause the bible doesnt say it but is that logical. not to me it isnt. jesus wasnt female either so am i destined to hell cause im female. week argumnet using isogesis to prove your point. you cannot ardue a book that uses the culture and language of the day translated into another culture and language of another day, both of wich dont apply today.

  • Who do you people think you are? Who are you to tell people that they aren't saved? God is the only perfect judge. Which of us is without sin? Who can say that they are any better than anyone else? Christians are supposed to be showing the love of Christ and professing his endless grace. Wake up you ignorant fools!! Judge harshly and you will be judged harshly. I think homosexuality is a sin but we are called to love unconditionally and that means gays too. Gay christians are still christians.

  • Thanks for pointing all that out. NO such thing as a gay Christian. Just people who claim to be.

  • Got some news for you.I am GAY & a Christian! Hurrah, praise the Lord! I don't need a book filled with twisted & interpreted script to tell me,supposedly,I am evil & will burn in hell, blah, blah, blah! I talk with God each & every day! The cult of religion has been prominent in keeping millions of people as sheep for centuries, preying on the vulnerable & weak.May God's love shine down on us all,gay,lesbian,bi-sexual,straigh,whatever,we are ALL His.

  • did jesus have homesexual sex, duh no! and for that matter he didnt have sex AT ALL. condemning that is a sin. You can be gay and christian , I personally am both. I would love the chance to chat with you.

    New Living Translation (©2007)

You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.

  • Eeeee , I love da T.D. Jakess At the end .

Well we All knoww you can't be saved and Be GAy or lesbian, cuz' if you Are you GO to Hell.!!

    End of story . .

  • I don't believe Jesus was a homosexual.

  • I agree with you 100% that the Bible does not say that Jonathan and David were not romantic lovers. I also agree with you (It is very clear) that Ruth and Naomi were not romatic lovers. People believe they were? However, in one area, I disagree. I'm attracted to females. When did I choose this? When I was 5 or 7? I don't practice same sex relationships - in fact, I don't even have a boyfriend. So, I'm not sure what you'd call me. but I know I'm 100% saved and I went to a IFB church for years

  • @TheSomekindoffemale . . .continued from above (or below). I think I mest up in that first part about David and Jonathan. The Bible is clear that David and Jonathan are not romantic lovers. I also agree with the holy kiss - not on the lips.

  • You don't like Elton John very much, then, do you? *laughs*

  • Was Jesus a tap dancer? No? You must be going to hell! Was Jesus an ice skater? No? You must be going to hell!

It's a good thing Hell isn't real and the Bible is phony.

  • and ur a hipocrate.

  • I don't think that J & D and N & R were necessarily romantic lovers. The point, for me, is that the origins of same-sex desire presented in the Bible concern those involved in cultic worship and/or who are completely rebelling against God. The Bible no where speaks to people who from their earliest experiences have sexual attractions to the same sex and desire to lived in committed, life-long commitments to one another.

  • @boanerges7 hi again. Thanks for the replies. I am glad that god looks on the heart - you are very right that outward appearances and displays are not always sincere. Isn't someone who is divorced and remarried practising sin daily though by being in an adulterous relationship? God bless

  • @bagospannerz - Divorce, if it lines up with scriptural tenets, does not violate God's word. Like the letter to the Corinthians state, many have deluded themselves, and still do. It depends upon the circumstances of the divorce, and whether the divorce was scripturally validated.

  • @boanerges7 hi there. You said the conditions for divorce which i accept - so why are Christians getting divorced and remarried without those reasons - and they are accepted and going to heaven - even though they are adulterers but gay people in monogamous relationships are going to hell? If there is an explanation I am missing please tell me - I have been searching for an answer but no-one has one. God bless

  • @bagospannerz - what is causing the confusion in my estimation is that you are making a comparison firstly of something that no biblical writer has made scripturally. Secondly, repentance - regardless of the sin you are repenting of, is between you and God. Utilizing comparatives in a post modern society is quite different than comparing post modernistic ideals to scripture. Those who actively PRACTICE sin, meaning daily unrepentant practicing of sin, shall NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

  • @boanerges7 definitely proverbs. Hope you having a good day - god bless

  • @boanerges7 hi there. You said god doesn't expect us to be celibate - but then why must gay Christians remain celibate when a divorced Christian remarries and is acceptable even when god calls them adulterers? I don't understand. The Hebrews verse is talking about those who have heard the gospel and denied it - not those who have accepted it - is that right? I'm sorry I can't find the proverbs quote - I have a disorder similar to dyslexia so searching things is tricky for me but I know it's d

  • @bagospannerz - The context in which Hebrews was written, was to1st century Jews who came out from Orthodox Judiasm to "The Way"... They were tempted to return to the sacraficial systems of Mosaic Law. Verse 26 -31 addresses that. The principleis still applicable today. Romans 7 and 8 as well covers the same principle. Even so, if you have accepted Christ as LORD, AND Saviour you have to address it. DIvorce is only allowed by God for adultery, as Jesus stated, or if the unbeliever leaves.

  • @boanerges7 also, god calls lots of things abomination, arrogance, and other things in proverbs and Leviticus. No-one would choose a condition that would vein suffering on themselves like being gay. I just don't understand how gays are expected to be celibate when celibacy is a gift from god. Of Christians can accept divorced and remarried Christians - why not gay people? I truly don't understand - it's not that I want to condone wrongdoing. Peace be with you

  • @bagospannerz - I don't know the scripture that refers to arrogance (maybe pride?), but despite that, you can't just ignore whatever is called abominable in the sight of God,but we must address it. God doesn't expect us to be celibate, but some are able to function in celibacy. God doesn't distinguish, or categorize us by our proclivities to sin either. It only takes 1 unrepentant sin to separate you from communion with God. With my own sin...

  • I have trouble in some areas, and I have overcome sin in some areas. Not alone by my own efforts... but as you understand the grace of God, and know He is patient with us, you can overcome your desire to sin. Scripture teaches us to renew our minds, and to strive for obedience with God, we must be willing to look at what He calls sin, and release the sin in order to embrace God. There are several types of sexual sin listed in scripture. None are acceptable to God. Repentance is key..

  • @bagospannerz - Hebrews 10:26-31

"26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

  • @boanerges7 hi there. Thanks for being so nice too. I am severely disabled and have brain damage and most people on YouTube get impatient with me when I don't understand. I will check out the sites tomorrow. I understand that in the beginning god made male and female but that isn't alway true now as some people are born intersex. If intersex people can be born why not gay people?

  • @boanerges7 there are many people who accept different views of repentance. Please could you explain to me again yours and give some passages for me to study? Thanks for helping me learn and god bless

  • @bagospannerz - Lexicon Results Strong's G3340 - metanoeō μετανοέω

Transliteration- metanoeō; Outline of Biblical Usage 1) to change one's mind, i.e. to repent 2) to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins "Repentance (metanoia, 'change of mind') involves a turning with contrition from sin to God; the repentant sinner is in the proper condition to accept the divine forgiveness."

  • @bagospannerz - regarding scriptural references, they won't let me post a link in a comment, but I suggest going to biblegateway, and do a search on the word repent. There is another site called eliyah dotcom, that has a strong's concordance for greek and hebrew where you can get the scripture verses, AND use a greek/hebrew lexicon..

  • @bagospannerz - I wanted to send a separate post thanking you for this insightful exchange, and your respectful interaction with me.

  • @boanerges7 hi there. Please read up on dr. Ingebog ward study of sexuality on rats. If you don't know why or how you chose to be straight how can you ask a gay person why and how they chose to be gay? Why would a gay person chose to be that way? They are hated, killed, discriminated against and told they are going to hell - no-one would choose that. If you cannot prove to me it's a choice why do you need me to prove it's not a choice?

  • @bagospannerz - I never chose my gender, that was God. God created 2 genders.. Male and Female; God said be fruitful, and multiply. There is not one instance, biblically speaking of God saying homosexuality was anything but sin. It is not a greater,or lesser sin, God has no record of judging that way. He judges sin,and calls homosexuality a sin. Why do people choose to sin? Inherent Adamic nature. Ask yourself this - If God condones homosexuality, why is it referred to as an abomination?

  • @boanerges7... Based on faith.". What do you mean by if after salvation we refuse to repent? Repentance leads to salvation - why would you need to do it again? You would need to rely on god daily, but first repentance could only be done once. Hope you reply. God bless

  • @boargenes7 I do not have cavalier attitude towered sin. I never said we should do nothing - I said we alone can do nothing - only through the holy spirit can we produce fruit. Anything good I do comes only from god. Any effort of my own without the holy spirit is a work. Philippians 2:9 "I no longer have A righteousness of my own, the kind that is gained by obeying the law. I now have the righteousness that is given through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from god and is bas

  • @boanerges7 hi there. Thanks for the reply. There is a genetic Component to homosexuality. Also, gay rats were created by giving the mommy rat a flood of hormones. This proves gay people do not choose to be gay. Can you give me one good reason why someone would choose to be gay? Did you choose to be heterosexual? I am insinuating nothing. You are suggesting that I believe certain things. Assumptions get you nowhere. Repenting is a change of direction - from unbelief to belief.

  • @bagospannerz - Generalized, and inconclusive examples do not prove homosexuality is genetic. Sight the scientific findings and your resource. I cannot explain to you why people choose behaviors. All I can tell you is that we are sinful by nature. Each man's sin is evolved from his own proclivities. I also did not assume anything, but I asked directly due to the direction of your comments. Your idea of repenteance, again is not based on the BIBLICAL description of repentance.

  • @boanerges7. Hi there. Thanks for the comment. I understand and respect your view but do not share it. Being gay is not a choice so I don't think it can be a sin. Also, repenting means to change your mind from unbelief to belief in Christ. Any change after that is fruit produced by the holy spirit. Turning from sin by ones own esteem would be a work would it not? What would you say? Thanks and god bless

  • @bagospannerz - If it is not a choice, I'm sure you can show scientific proof to support that assertion. Otherwise, you are hard pressed to maintain that assertion. Please provide scientific proof to support your claim. Repent means "to turn away from", or "go in the OPPOSITE direction." To have such a cavalier attitude towards sin, assures abuse of the grace of God. The Bible warns us about deluding ourselves. Also, Jesus TAUGHT repent, and sin no more so, are YOU insinuating He taught wrong?

  • @bagospannerz - The Bible clearly teaches man sins. Christ died to cover such sins. The book of Romans contrasts your perception. To say, "I won't do anything to change my sinful nature", knowing that sin separates you from God, how then can you not be guilty of taking God's grace for granted? If we confess our sin, He is faithful to forgive it. In your type of theology, which Im sorry to say isn't biblically supported, why do you need God if you refuse to repent after salvation?

  • Boanerges7

5 seconds ago @ave383 - TD Jakes message was from "Nothing Just Happens" and the maker of this video cut it off at a point where he/she can try to justify their point. If he let if finish, Jakes says himself, "Ruth was not attracted to Orpah's Flesh......." You can go to my site to hear it in its entirety. He is in NO way supporting a gay agenda....

  • @Boanerges7 where did I say being gay is of yhwh?also I wouldn't use paul as a source against gays since he said yahushua abolished the ordinanance of emnity.Eph 2:15 goes against Leviticus which yhwh spoke of his ordinances and paul called them hate ordinances.in those very scriptures in Leviticus yhwh ordered against homo sexuality.

  • @ave383 - I noticed that you did notmake that statement. I thought I sucessfully deleted it. My apologies, I realize you did not say that at all... Regarding Eph 2:15 - your interpretation is not exegeted in the context of what Shaul is stating in this portion of text, and I disagree with you there. As well, the bible does not contradict itself didactically in any book..

  • @Boanerges7 Honestly everyone needs to study scripture much more and from sources outside the bible.words like bible, jesus, grace are all pagan dieties.God is pagan.Jehovah is pagan.Paul is not an apostle and was added to the scriptures by marcion a gentile who hated the apostles and hated the old testament diety which is YHWH.So he made his own bible that had mostly paul and luke and that was it.And the council of Nicene adopted it.People like clementine who was successor to peter are excluded.y

  • @ave383 - Surely you must know that these are mere words translated into English, and its the meaning that you attribute to those words that is what is most important. Jesus = Yeshua, & so on. The gospel has been extrapolated to both Jew and Gentile. Where you get this other information from regarding Shaul? Where is this so called "own Bible" that he made up? Scripture was not determined at the council of Nicea... It seems you have alot of mis-information.

  • @Boanerges7 Names are not mere words. You translate words and you transliterate names, name are proper and they do not get translated. His name is Yahushua not Yahshua. And the council did establish the bible, there was no bible prior, you do know that right? They took books and compiled them and told you what you can and what you can't read. Before the council people chose the books they wanted to read. The bible is not a book. It's a compilation of books. stick a gnostic text in it an u wouldn't notice

  • @ave383 - Wrong... I disagree, and to be quite honest with you, to continue to argue against the strawmen arguments you are building is pointless to me. Your assertions are pasted together like a 1st grade art project. Many of them in my estimation lack any substance. I will leave it off as we will agree to disagree. What you easily accept as common knowledge is not fact (the "council"e.g. and what occured there). Thanks for the exchange, and shalom.

  • @Boanerges7 If you know anything about the history then you should know about marcion who he is and what his views are.Marcion is the father of christianity. The followers of marcion were called christian and he called the messiah chresto. If you want to know about paul you need to first lose the idea that you or anyone knows it all and that the bible is the inerrant word of god.Revelations says do not add or take away from that book.he wasn't speaking about the bible it was speaking about rev

  • @Boanerges7 Paul was a free born roman. His uncle was herod,he was a pharisee and never denounced it.He quoted lines form plays about zeus and you and another person who reads his books think he is speaking inspired words of god.He also said it's alright to eat things sacrificed to idols,he said the law was done away. You better do some real studying and follow yahushua and not paul.Paul called himself father when yahushua said be ye not called father etc etc.I can go on 4eva.He also qouted buddah

  • I'm gay, in a happy long term relationship and have been brought up christian. Many of the people at my church accept me and and say God loves everyone as long as they live a good life. Open your eyes and start realising gay people have the right to have faith too, i mean whatever happened to love thy neighbour as thyself?

  • @crazyshmoo1 - If you read scripture, I' sure you've heard of Proverbs 14:12

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

The scripture, and all that it contains is not left to our interpretation of what we think it means. True believers, such as the Bereans tested ALL things against the foundation of what SCRIPTURE teaches. Too many people think they can add post modernist eisegesis and twist scripture. Its the same trick the serpent used in Eden...

  • I can make a great case from the bible that heterosexuality is a sin. Adam and eve were heterosexual and they were the first sinners and approved of incest. God destroyed heterosexuals in the flood. King David's heterosexuality ended up in 100's of concubines, wives, divorce and murder. It's high time we accepted our gay brothers and sisters and stopped judging.

  • @bagospannerz - God's transcendence and soveriegnty determines the do's and don'ts scripturally. No where is it left to debate between a Transcendent Creator and a finite creation as to who's opinion will take precedence in the day of judgement. We are to love sinners, but hate sin. Christ taught repentance. NO SIN that is actively and practiced has been repented of. Anyone guilty of what the BIBLE calls sin, can be redeemed. What scripture DOESN'T support, is CONDONING ANY sin.

  • @mrwinnslaw hi - is homosexuality a sin or just homosexual acts? Could a celibate gay person be saved? God bless

  • "Homosexuality is a sin-sin is not conducive to God."

  • Faith itself is a gift from God - why would he give gay people the gift of faith if he hates homosexuality? Celibacy is a gift from god - you cannot elect to be celibate - what should gay people do?

  • Absolutely horrible! the devl is a lie!

  • the problems with "repent!!" are many, including it being impossible for a gay person to magically turn straight, there is no such thing as a former homosexual. And, it's not a sin.

  • Being gay is not a sin, leviticus refers to a sex act, not to being homosexual, and it was not written by God. Jesus said those OT purity codes were not God's law, love your neighbor is. if homosexuality was a sin, why does God make so many gay people, including great Christian leaders.

  • sex is hardly mentioned in the bible people make a far bigger deal out of it than jesus ever did

  • I have to disagree. I think you can be gay and still be a Christian. I believe in "once saved always saved". I think you can be a gay Christian, but you're certainly NOT an obedient Christian because God said that homosexuality is a sin. Lying is also a sin, but there are times when I lie. That doesn't mean that I'm not going to Heaven. But, it does mean that until I repent, there's a strain on my relationship with God and He's not going to bless me.

  • Eww seeing the two men kiss...yuk u don;t realy see it in NZ where I live, thank stuff yuk don;t look right, would;t want my sons seeing it,God says its an abomination,Sorry gay pple its what the Bible says..im not dissing but I do think its so wrong man,My personal opinion ok thats all,so no hate mail off that rubbish

  • @floydgirl7 No hating here, but in the same paragraph of the Bible that says homosexuality is an abomination (Leviticus), it also states that eating shellfish is an abomination, wearing clothes made out of two or more materials is an abomination, planting different crops in the same piece of land is an abomination.. Those are things that Christians do every day, yet they don't condemn those acts, even though they condemn homosexuality which the Bible sees as the same as them..

  • @rainbowpride76 - You're making the mistake of applying Levitical Law to a current Christian worldview. The tenets outlined in Leviticus were applied to Israel as a whole because in being a "holy" or "set apart" nation of people for the one true God, admist a culture of many pagan gods, meant they needed to distinguish their lives from that of the world. Those laws are no longer applied to a current Christian society. Christians should stand with God, and HIS opinion of what sin is or isn't.

  • @Boanerges7 Absolutely, and how do you know that God believes homosexuality to be a sin when he no longer thinks of the other Levitical Laws to be acceptable?

  • when they aren't out campaigning for the Death Penalty, of course.

  • The Pharisees thought Christ Himself to be Satan in Matt. 12:24. It's the tragic reflex action of those who shut their minds and hearts to alternate views such what Christ tried to get the Pharisees to see.

  • Homosexuality is SATANIC, yesterday, today, and forever

  • @The777Apostle and your deluded and brainwashed by superstitious bullshit. You'll never see the truth about gay people being wonderfully, fearfully made. God made all people with all of their diversity (including gay people) to shake the self-righteous out of their complacency and to humble them. That includes you.

  • @Rockymtntruth You are trying to school me about GOD and can't even control your tongue (HYPOCRITE) You have no backing to this ridiculous statement you made. homosexuality is NOT a diversity but a decision a person made through their own lust and desires (READ YOUR BIBLE), based on scripture it is and always will be SIN and an ABOMINATION, stop taking scripture out of context, to be wonderfully and fearfully made is to be in his image, YAH is LOVE but he also has standards that we must live by.

  • @Rockymtntruth The Old Testament says " Man shall not lay with man as with a woman (Lev. 18;22 & 20;13) and The New Testament calls it vile affections (Rom. 1;26-27), The word ' Vile ' means ' disgustingly and utterly bad ', Yah never allowed it and never will so don't tell me about his love and you neglect to mention his standards because they both go hand and hand, if you try to justify this act of sin using scripture it will always be out of context.

  • @The777Apostle The Old Testament says a lot of crazy things including stoning your rebellious son, not eating shrimp (it's an abomination) and many other really off the wall things. I think your bigotry and creepiness is showing forth quite clearly.

  • @Rockymtntruth This discussion is about homosexuality ( nothing else ) and you're right there are many other sins mentioned in scripture that are an abomination but we are discussing homosexuality. REPENT

  • @The777Apostle LOL there are many other sins like eating shellfish, wearing clothes made of mixed fibers and so on and son on. So you'd better not eat that shrimp cocktail because the Old Testament states that is an abomination. REPENT REPENT. Take your bible and shove it right up your self-righteous tight ass.

  • @The777Apostle The Old Testament has some serious problems when it says "Thou Shalt Not Kill" as one of the ten commandments and then you read about stoning a woman in adultery and these so called "sins worthy of death". That's totally cracked, sick and twisted. You might think about what it is you are buying into when you read that bullshit and accept it lock stop and barrel.

  • @Rockymtntruth REPENT and turn away from this behavior as well as other characteristics that is not of GOD ( 2Chronicles 7;14 ) and turn to HIM, believe in his SON and be filled with his Holy Spirit. TODAH

  • @The777Apostle Spoken by a true Christo-fascist know it all, self-righteous creep. Go to take your self-righteous, holier than bigotry and shove it up your tight ass.

  • @Rockymtntruth You can call me whatever comes to your satanic thinking, it doesn't change a thing, homosexuality is sin an according to scripture ' They who practice or agree with such abominations as this and others are worthy of DEATH ' ( Rom. 1;32 ) but it's not to late to REPENT, I don't mean you no harm MY FRIEND but I must tell the truth because it makes you free ( John 8;32 ) and " If the SON therefore make you free you shall be free indeed " ( John 8;36 ) REPENT there's still time.

  • @The777Apostle "you can call me whatever comes to your satanic thinking, it doesn't change a thing..." blah blah blah blah. You're the one who is Satanic you creepy cultist! Satanic because you are a lying son of a bitch who loves to twist scripture using fear and you are a control freak. PERIOD!! You sound just like a brainwashed robot. Typical cultist. All you can do is say "repent" REPENT REPENT REPENT REPENT REPENT REPENT REPENT REPENT. Let's just see how many times u can say it!

  • @The777Apostle When you say "I don't mean you no harm..." you are lying. All you do is quote this crap that comes from the Old Testament saying this or that is "worthy of death." Who in the hell are you to say who is worthy of death? Those arcane MEN who made up those rules that are written into that Old Testament were seriously demented. Who in their right mind would stone a woman for adultery? The 10 commandments say Thou Shalt Not Kill and then you read about killing all over the O.T.

  • @The777Apostle Also your "Bible Based Marriage" crap is most easily described and summed up by Betty Bowers "America's Best Christian". Look her up on YouTube.

  • What a useless video. Was there a point to this or something? :p

  • In answer to the video's question: The Gospels give us rather limited knowledge of the personal life of Christ. Some of the Nostic Gospels suggest He and Mary Magdalene may have had an intimate relationship. We only know for certain He said NOTHING about homosexuality.

  • Sorry, "Gnostic" Gospels.

  • @clay56

Gosh that is blasphemy. Jesus was without sin, a perfect man.He was God in human flesh.

The vile excuses homosexuals come up with to excuse their lifestyle proves they are enemies of god.

    .

  • Hey Indigo,

No blasphemy intended, just the opposite in fact. The Pharisees intent to label Christ as Satan is but an extreme case of what a good number of religous leaders do to discredit and condemn those with alternate views such as what Christ tried to get the Pharisees to see.

  • Smh@T.D Jakes' AUDACITY!

  • .......and borders on........ what...... and borders on........ what. WHAT DID HE SAY.

    OMGOODNESS.

homo's are an abomination to The Most High!

This pulpit pastor is trying to pervert holy woman . This is a disgrace.

  • John 15:12-15 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my father.- jump in front of bullet for a friend n twisted minds would say you're gay, NOT.

  • It's absolute madness for Jakes to preach what God considers an abomination. Along with any other sexual act outside of marriage. To say that because you love a friend so much it would pain you deeply to live without them. Is not being gay it's called true love and true friendship. Daniel and Ruth loved their friends as they loved themselves. Which is what we are asked to do and it a down right shame that you have pastors twisting the words from the Bible.

  • How can you even completely trust what's in the texts when some portions of the New Testament were added sometimes centuries after the fact?

  • ....and also drug users that keep on doing it and use Bible texts to justify themselves , and before anyone says that im judging, let me tell you that i am an ex drink and drug user, when Jesus saved me i was dead on the cross with Him and ressurected with Him a new being , then i can go on drinking and the rest. what u did in ur past life u left it behind. Dont the Holy Spirit tell you its wrong to be gay ??? Never ??? ok wait till Jeus comes back to decide but i wouldnt want to take a chance .

  • You worship the Bible like it is God.

  • The Bible is the Word of God(KJV).

John 1:1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  • Read the ORIGINAL Greek manuscripts not the KJV if you want to get much closer to the source.

  • @Rockymtntruth,

You are just trying to justify your sin.

  • You are just trying to justify your ignorance and stupidity that is based in self-righteous arrogance.

  • You do not know me to call me stupid. Are you a Catholic?

  • @usisguy I know what you are writing here about gay people is stupid and ignorant. It doesn't matter what faith I belong to. The facts are that gay people are a legitimate minority who are often castigated and treated as "the other" by the likes of bigoted homophobes like yourself.

  • @Rockymtntruth wooow prove that gays are actually have characteristics of being a minority?? all I hear are excuses to sin just with any person who sins tries to justify their animalistic behaviors, lack of control.

  • @shanmnl You're an absolute idiot and a creep to boot. You don't know anything about gay people at all except what your backward, bigoted preachers have to say about gay folks. You use a the word "sin" as a smokescreen to keep the truth off of the table. The truth is that gay people are just as legitimate a people as you are. They are a minority as they always have been.

  • read leviticus 20:13, it clearly says same sex relationships are abomination to God. The Lord didnt make a man to be with a man or a woman to be with a woman , He created Eve(woman) for Adam(man) and told them to create live together the biological way. This lad that made this vid isnt judging but warning gay people to repent and change their ways before its too late. read Ezequiel 33 and can see that we must warn people of the danger of not being saved. The same happens to drunken people...

  • Crap you're so insanely obsessed about picking and choosing Leviticus to justify your hate and abuse of gay people. Get a life!!

  • Also, Have you eaten shrimp?

Have you worn clothes made with two different types of cloth?

Would you sell your daughter into slavery or stone her to death for disobedience?

Have you ever played football, thereby touching the skin of a dead pig?

Have you worked on a Sunday therefore being deserving of death?

Have you ever has premarital sex?

Yeah, I suggest you take a look at yourself before you pass judgement. The Bible is not infallible, but God's love for us is infinite.

  • Also, don't ever condemn people when you know you are not perfect and you do not deserve God's grace anymore than anyone else does "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Jesus himself never once condemned homosexuality. He gave us two of the most powerful commandments. Love God with all your being and Love your neighbor. Well I do try to love those who hate me, but it is difficult. Churches close their doors to me when Jesus himself befriended and saved everyone.

  • @marshallj

Christs' commandment to love our neighbors as

ourselves, I find is by far the most difficult! He is

calling apon us to love persons that we might find

    repignant.

  • I can't believe how judgemental people can be. I am gay. I am a Christian. I have seen God's love for me work and I have seen my prayers answered. You can believe whatever you choose to believe, but I am going to continue knowing in my heart that God created me the way I am and that His love is unending. He has blessed me with so much, and I am trying to be a good Christian, and it is really difficult to do so when I see people like you and the Westboro Baptists turn his words into hate.

  • Jesus HATES homosexuality !!!! For it CHURNS Jesus's stomache and makes a his skinn CRAWEL !!!!

  • @Skulldini

Actually, Jesus was most revolted by hypocricy.

The gospels are riddled with incidents of him

    going ballistic on that!

  • there is no such thing as a GAY christian...You cannot be of Christian nature and be Gay read Romans chapter 1 verses 25 thru 32......Homosexuality is an abomination to Christ, it is through out the entire bible...In no way, is GAY acceptable in any reputable true Christian belief. Anyone who knows and reads the bible to any extent knows that this is true. Man has freewill to do as he pleases, even if I do not agree with what a person does, not my place to judge,God the Father will pass judgement.

  • See the movie SAVE ME starring Chad Allen and then come back and start debating this issue. Until you have walked in our shoes you don't have a leg to stand on. Also Jesus did not have sexual relationships with anyone (as the scriptures record) as he was a celibate man all of his life. He also said absolutely nothing about homosexuality. Not one word did He utter (the words in red) about it. The Old Testament Deuteronomy scripture you refer to is part of the holiness code not relevant today

  • Everything in the Holy Bible is relevant today, Whatever God felt needed changing He made sure His Son Jesus told us about, Everything else that Jesus didnt change, Stays as God said in the old testament. are you forgetting that Jesus came to give us redemption?? i could have gone on with drug abuse and say : Ok Jesus never said dont touch drugs!! Would that make it right ?? 3:1 to 10 , also read galatians 5 v 16 to 25. if you trully love God isnt He worth any sacrifice???

  • "Everything in the Holy Bible is relevant today." Yes stoning your disobedient children (i.e. Deuteronomy) is really relevant for today.

  • Drug abuse and sexual orientation are a a universe in difference from one another. Your 3rd grade education level is very revealing here.

  • ...after all God sacrificed His Son for us. who are we to feel we have the right to put our partner or anything else before God

  • (Cont) Do you honestly think that these peoples "light" shines very brightly? No. Beware of those who boast too loudly, who shreak their rightiousness in the ears of others, who point their finger and cry "sinner!". These people surely have something terrible to hide. Rightiousness is a whisper! Nut to those who listen its a roar. Thise of you rightiouss people pointing your fingers at homosexuals, it is very evident that your light shines very very dimly.

  • (Cont) Matthew 5:5 was talking about the hyppocrates who prayed too loudly in public, but there is another lesson here. Christians who condem others in a pack mentality, who point fingers and accuse as if they are so rightious that they place themselves as judge over the content of anothers soul and its value. (Cont)

  • (Cont) Light does not need to make its presence known, it does not need to practice its rhetoric, or argue its position. It is by its very nature what it is, and it does its job without the need to boast its higher qualities, or to condem the nature of that which it is not. Is that perhaps what Matthew 5:5 meant? (Cont)

  • Light, is it not a funny thing? A single light bulb can attract hundreds of insects, or signal to a guest that they are welcome at someones home. To those who may be lost a light on the horizon can mean civilization, or to the sailor, the brightest light in the sky point North.

  • all false teachers will have their place in the lake of fire too. It is sad that someone that calls themselves a pastor will even misuse scriptures and interpret that in such a negative way to appeal to the homosexual folks. This video is great! T.D. Jakes also denied that Jesus is the only way. Very sad in today's evangelical churches. Well, Jesus is coming soon and all these people that hate Jesus or twist His words will stand before Him. Repent people and accept Jesus as Lord today.

  • We dont have this horrible stuff in Sweden, because 80% does not believe in an actual god.

'God hates Sweden' and we arent bothered. We are one of the most neutral countries in the world, dont you think god would punish us in some way? I mean... Comon?

  • ArtificialClouds

Of course God would Punish you because you have not repented of your sins and put your trust in Christ Jesus to save you. It is not just believing in a God it is also by practicing holiness and keep the commandment of God. A Christian/Person of an other religion that does not practice holiness can still go to Hell. Its not Just believe in God that make you righteous but a turning away from sins. Christ Bore all our sins on the cross

When we come to God we are accept bc

  • ArtificialClouds

Because When a true Christian stands in the presents of God. God is looking at Jesus's righteousness upon that Christian. With out Christ God sees sin And God cannot stand to look at sin because God must punish sin.

Please Read the Book of Romans to understand more of what I am saying

If you don't have a bible you can always find it online.
