that the government is to blame for the systemic issues and not individual companies or industries.

There is no mathematical way to gauge beta(or risk) of government interference...

when the fed rates drop in half, and then suddenly doubles it within a few years... there is no way to predict this heavy intervention in the markets, which creates bubbles and collapses.

Thank you for bringing this to our (my) attention. I briefly looked over this bill... and the issue is systemic risk, which is basically stating the obviously...

however, it blaces the blame on individual companies by applying additional regulations... this basic premise of the bill, based on my interpretation, is absurd. Interventionism through the Fed with fed rates and such, is the problem....
