Learn about history.That was a hijacking, the terrorists thought the 767 had 11 hours of fuel, so they tried to get him to go to Australia(sorry for my shitty spelling), so the pilot tried to fly around the coast, and the terroristts figured out, unfortunatly, when he tried to land at an island, he ran out of fuel and tried to ditch into the water, but a sudden bank at the end caused the aircraft to break into peices, and a tourist caught that footage.

The terrorists were adamant but the pilot know that there wasnt enough fuel, so you are right, he did keep it close to land so when he ran out of fuel, they wouldn't have far to go to land. there was a reason the blane banked just before it hit the watter but the pilot tried t avoid this but i cant remember y

the thing about the 1st one (that isnt shown in this version) is that the f14 broke apart after passing the carrier. dont recall status of the crew. as far as the comments about the 'asshole' flying the 3rd aircraft...the osprey was notorious for doing stuff like that during testing and killed alot of good people (well, same can be said about alot of planes) they are rather odd and slightly unstable...read into it if you really care.

the first one is in fact an f-15(i think) breaking the sound barrier. nothing crashed there. and the mig-29's have the best ejection seat in the world : the Zvezda K-36D. thats why most of the mig-29's pilots get out alive :))
