The only reason i listen to Ozzy's band is Rhandy.....I cant stand Ozzy's vocals when he is live....or Zakk Wylde for that matter.Rhandy is too good to be associated with them
Something i read at guitar center- "lyrics, wasted time between guitar solos" Ozzy is talented (obviously) but randy and his awesome guitar skills always pull attention away from Ozzy. (My opinion)
Hearing Randy Rhoads makes me wanna cry! Its unreal how beautiful he plays, its so.. its just wow! Im so sad he isnt with us anymore! Why do the great ones have to go?! All I hope is.. that when I go to heaven, he'll be up there playing his heart out. Take note people, that is the greatest guitarist! RIP RR!
@xxTheHoundxx1 Dam right! Big loss to music. Seen Ozzy with Randy several times back in the 80's. The first time Def Leppard opened up for them with their High N Dry album. They were pretty much unheard of then. We were front row just to the right of center. Randy kicked some serious Ass! I was amazed on how small he was when I was right in front of him. I took some pictures of that show, but only can find a few of Def Leppard. Dam! wish I could find them. They're priceless pictures. R.I.P.
I can't believe this was happening near my house in 1981! I was 14 years old. We went and see Foreigner back then at the Montreal Forum. It's amazing how the events back then were so innocent.
I actually have this bootleg. the only problem I have is its missing iron man/children of the grave. and from what im hearing,,, I wish it wasnt missing. this is a great version
@jakemann2000 I got it too - the King biscuit version HAD this and Iron man and I think over the mountain. I also don't think this was from the KB tapes....

Randy was incredible. Ozzy owes him a great deal. I suspect without Randy, Ozzy's career would be finished after the departure from Black Sabbath.

Randy hated playing the Sabbath songs but he definitely put his stamp on them and added way more into them.
