A minor error in the description: You said NXT-G was developed by labview: it was developed by National Instruments (probably working with LEGO), modeled after labview.

On the video, that is truly amazing. It is very "lifelike" (even though it's a robot...)

I just thought of programming a robot to do the robot. (=

yes thinking about it a lot but it would need to be much bigger for that... hydraulics or linear actuators take lots of room (so would a second or third NXT :)

Hi Martins, it actually pretty easy once you gather all the special sensor and Lego Technic elements needed, 3 youtube friends have managed to build there own wall-e based on my pictures and video -- you could also check out other very cool LEGO NXT Wall-e on youtube for other inspiration.

no you can't buy a LEGO WALL-E -- they would need to first get a license from Disney Pixar -- but you can buy a few sets that are pretty real and build your own ... start with ONE NXT and ONE BULLDOZER set ! i have some instruction tip video and pictures and program and part llist if you want them email me.
