first off.. Superman can fly so fast it reverses time itself... so he is fastar then flash... And, he is made out of steel... If flash punches him in the speed of light, he will break his arms :-)
Any version of The Flash that can move at Light Speed could defeat Superman. It really doesn't take more than a rock of Kryptonite. But also, Flash's "infinite mass" punches can cause great damage.
But hey, we all agree on one thing. DC Comics rules!

flash is spicifically made for speed as superman is strength. If you have seen the Smallville episodes Clark has a hard time catching flash.
