For those lucky enough to watch the 1986 Mets play throughout a glorious Spring, Summer and Fall - you were blessed as a Mets fan. From the scintillating series against the Houston Astros to the unbelievable win during Game 6 of the World Series and eventual World Series win. The Mets found a place to overcome; somehow, somewhere the Baseball gods were kind to them. It was a memorable year. Great job with the tribute.
Yeah it was, and the 05 team was suppose to be the beginning of something great and look what happened-- lost in game 7 of the NLCS, lost back to back games with playoff implications on the last day of the season, and fell apart in 09.
