I was both appalled and fascinated by this programme. We have to accept this culture exists and will continue to exist like it is, however I was very distressed by the cruelty towards the animals. We are all animals - even humans - and all animals are equal so no animal should suffer even if it's a tiny mouse or a giant buffalo. All animals feel pain, become scared and fear death. I just wish the gypsy culture would be less harsh towards other animals.
