@praskovia13 I think that's what I love about the lyrics the most. In most instances that would illicit anger or laughter or something about the reaction, but in this song by the end its just so sweet and charming, I can't put my finger on it. But its so peaceful, the lovers are just in their own little world.

Name a singer who does better? I don't have a lot of names in my head but one comes: Ewan MacColl-Ewan the greit, the unique, the wonderful, the precious; the rare, the universal. Obliviously, they were friends.

@Chomuno Ewan McColl mentored Luke and Luke learned a lot from him, and they had a relationship, but to say that McColl was a better singer than Luke is quite frankly OUTRAGEOUS..McColl was very technical, and Luke learned that technique but then outgrew McColl by leaps and bounds..... .

"McColl was very technical..." yes, but he had talent, real talent, not speaking of his wonderful talent of writing, nor his rare intelligence but just his singer-talent, he has a wonderful voice, a great notion of musics, a gust for folksong very few people have (Luke had)... @Chomuno Okay, so outrageous was a bit over the top,,,get very defensive when it comes to Luke,apologies,but there is, in my opinion. I have seen vids of Ewan singing, no comparison whatsoever. Sometimes when Luke hits certain notes, I actually get a little dizzy, and no one else's voice has ever affected me like that - certainly not Ewan's and lest you think I am just having mini-strokes, the same thing happens to other Luke fans, I've checked. So appreciate your opinion, but no cigar
