Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (created in 1984) actually started off as a young-adult comic book in which the Ninja Turtles were dark, serious and even killed their enemies.

God I hope there wont be a revamp...The turtles were total 90's eh, getting fat on pizza and listening to generic pop culture tunes from your cassette player.....The last thing they need to turn into is some cliche emo version of itself cast in dark lighting and melodramatic, slightly awkward character interaction. The idea does enlighten some form of intrigue this I admit, but lets leave good movies where they're meant to be eh, in fond memories....Indy, Wonka, Talbot, Dr. Zeus..*sigh*

I know it's trying to be realistic, but i'm not sure a buff dude in a turtle shell with green skin paint is the way to go. CGI might be a good choice, but then you'll just recreate the last one, which i didn't care for. So personally, i don't know what to say. Don't dig the guy in the Raph suit, or CGI. Eh, time will tell.

@shirak8 only the first film focused on the tension between raph and leo, because they are polar opposites, making it hard to get along, but they're also brothers so they have a duty to one another at the same time which, in any real life scenario, would take some time to work out. That's simply what they did in the movie to make it more believable, which believe it or not, was kind of what they were going for in a live action film... not to mention mikey and don portrayed great comic releif.

excellent cinematography and costumes....writing and acting need a ton of work though ("don't come near me!" after he just took out the guys who saved you...whaaaa? And if you can reach for a knife AFTER the turtle comes in, why can't you reach for it before? Why does the door open so easily to begin with?) I make these comments because if you cleaned those up I'd totally watch a full length version! ...but probably not if you didn't. :-)

This is by far the best, and most amazing fan made adaption to TMNT i have ever laid eyes on. Great job to who ever done this. I would like to know if this will be made into the supposed 2012 movie, Because it should be, The suit was very well made, Could have had a bit more action but the introduction was awesome, and the fact that the gang is different is also a plus. The Dark side of this is also amazing! So keep it up, let us know a bit more about your production though. :)
