utau has a trained voice that suits her and her work while amu has a nice voice that is nice for casually singing. It's hard to compare the two voices because it is mainly a personal preference kind of thing. technically speaking though, utau has the better voice.

@sarah48903 There are 3 seasons of the anime, and there is a fourth season, but that one only came out in manga form. You can find it when you search for it on Google, I assume. It's isn't hard to find and excists of 4 episodes: one featuring Kukai and Utau, the second one about Nagihiko and Rima, the third one about Kairi and Yaya and the fourth one...well, you have to read it to find out about that one ;-)
