He was at Vimmy ridge when the Canadian took it for the Allies. My great grandfather was a member of the Queen's Own Rifles. The Maple Leaf Forever is their marching song. Whenever I hear it, I remember my Grampa and how proud I am of him for his service. God save our Queen and heaven bless the maple leaf forever!

I'm an American who loves Canada and Canadians in general. I can't wait to travel through Quebec (our continants most unique and almost mainland European place, I feel) and then British Columbia. Don't know, but having Asperger's Syndrome and talking to people online and seeing footage from places, I've just always wanted to visit them.

One last thing after I go here: had the States became a Commonwealth as well as Canada, Aus. and NZ. instead of a lousy excuse for a 'republic', I strongly feel there wouldn't be all this lousy and unhealthy rivalry, big and small, here and there.
