  • My friends cat think its a cat lol weird huh?

  • my friends cat thinks hes human lol

  • In the early 1990's I had 36 western pond turtles hatch out from just 3 females! They tripple clutched. You should have the same luck. Problem is, I kept them in air conditioned room due to the nasty turtle fly maggots, mostly males.

  • Excuse me, the eggs crack if they are too wet. Keep this species eggs dry. The seasons in Calif. and Oregon are dry. That's why Washington lost their turtles. The climate changed too much over the last 1000's of years. I'd be interested to see just how well natural reproduction turns out from Washingtons head started populations. I commend Washington and Oregon. But keep the eggs dry. No water necessary at all, just bury them in clean dry sand, keep out of hot sun.

  • Look, I strongly suggest you set those turtles up differently for breeding. You need a different setup with some soil so they can lay eggs. And if you don't then you should be ashamed of yourself. You should not have those turtles if you are not repopulating the wild with some offspring! Keep your eggs dry, western pond turtle eggs crack if they are too dry. Keep them warm if you want females, air conditioned rooms produce males! Get them laying eggs this year, do not hesitate.
