EgyptofGlow, I've been meaning to ask you about what showrooms at the Riviera Hotel were the GLOW matches were shot in the latter part of Season One and all of Season Two? I recently went there and did a walking tour and went by the Mardi Gras food court where the GLOW Games Pizza Eating contest was taped and the upstairs where the old GLOW room was in the early part of the first season was taped (and the escalators). Thanks in advance.

Terryt1976: Its been a long time since I was at the Rivera, but I really thought the 2nd season was taped upstairs, right across from the "La Cage" show room. I'm pretty sure the escalators take you up to those show rooms but I could be wrong.

Its a old hotel now, isn't it? I often drive by it but haven't taken the time to go back in it. Maybe I should.

Thank you for your reply, EgyptofGlow. I would have loved to have stayed at the Riviera at the time of taping the GLOW matches. And in this and other matches, if you look very carefully, you can see Tammy Jones and Susie Spirit (with her right arm in a sling due to her dislocated elbow) in the audience. Happy Holidays!

It's kind of tough because the cameraman is in the way but at 1:19. I do know that in other matches possibly taped the same day (i.e. Americana VS Ninotchka, Palestina/Princess of Darkness Vs California Doll/Olympia, Little Feather/Little Egypt/Little Fiji Vs The Heavy Metal Sisters) you can see them well in the audience.

This was a season 1 match, and my first day wrestling. I had 2 matches that day, the first was with the Heavy Metal sisters. Spike finished off the match by stabbing me in the arm.

Not to throw the fans off, we dressed the wound for the next match and I asked the make up artist to paint and evil eye on my arm.

It doesn't make sense unless the matches are played back to back.

It was an exciting day because ET and Jackie Stallon were both there.

The hardest part about wrestling the housewives is trying not to listen to all the bantering while your waiting around for them to make the next move.

They were extremely talented ladies. I miss them.

Miss Egypt. i always wondered something. i saw a lot of GLOW wrestling and wrestlers like Dementia and The Heavy Metal Sisters. were they just as crazy in real life as in the ring or were they normal people like u and me? 2 bad that GLOW stopped somewhere. BTW i love your rap. it's catchy :)

Thank you Little Egypt. It's good to relive the first two seasons of GLOW as they were my favorites. I watched GLOW religiously on Saturdays! I recall Season Two where there seemed to be more "bad girls" than "good girls". Seasons 3 and 4 were OK but I missed the "original cast" and I would loved to have seen you wrestle Godiva! I wonder how Evangelina and the Princess of Darkness would have gotten along LOL!
