  • i agree with kwakman--or some silicone or there is brush on tape in a can now that is useable--anything to cover the hole.

  • I would strongly suggest if anyone does test their wires with that type of probe that you put electrical tape over the areas you poked holes through the wiring sheath at. Even with the wires inside the vehicles I've seen oxidation happen on them just enough to cause problems. The holes are small but they are none the less open to the air so they can possibly oxidize.
