The arab states have tried to wipe Israel off the map several times. There is no such thing as an "illegal weapon," in war. It does not matter if you are blown up and/or dismembered by a bunker buster that uses white phosphorous, or a 'standard' munition.
The arab states have proven time and time again that they will use any means necessary to destroy Israel utterly. Israel is surrounded on all sides by mortal enemies, they have a right to the land given to them by God.
