we were in training near by his grave site. only we didnt know this. we took a walk, where we saw some shade and cool. then there he was, including other Native American soldiers, or his family perhaps. we just know it was a special time and spoke of him in respect. he was a great man!
As a child, I played on Geronimo's gravesite. There was lots of vegetation and a small pool of water then. We felt special--- like Geronimo liked us there. This was in 1965-1967.
