2 things need to happen in pakistan.

The first is to give women equal rights.

The second is to end corruption.

Until these two main things happen, Pakistan will always be a backward, 3rd world country.

I really feel sorry for the women. They are treated like 2nd class citizens by the men. What baffles me is that all the men have mothers and possibly sisters but still insist on treating women like servants. Why cant they make the connection?

no dude im not based in the uk , thankfully, im based in Islamabad, which by the by is beautiful, I have however been unfortunate enough to have had stopovers, in your great grey puddle of a country, and getting a daily helping of fish and chips from the nearest rat infested vendor, hardly constitutes as a higher standard of living &neither does melanin deficiency, additionally Pakistan is not governed by strict Islamic laws as you incorrectly stated. Also healthcare is not an invention.
