great almost as great as dont leave me this way and theres a guitr part that sounds kinda rock and roll. disco was closer to rock and roll then the crappy post disco dance music of the last 30 years,

This song wasn't a hit on the POP charts. But Love's Masterpiece as well as a few other tracks off of the TGIF's sound track were BIG DANCE HITS in the CLUBS!!!

Thelma Houstons version was recorded 1st and released in 1978 as opposed to Jessica Wiliams version which was released in 1979!!! Thelma Houston's has a great gospel dance energy feel...the Jessica Williams version is cliche disco without the passion...
