  • The last era back when they hired actual string session musicians, before electronic keyboards took over hiring a live session band.

  • Too fast...I love her voice but not always the material she sang.

  • The most overlooked and interesting dance track on the soundtrack! Thank you for posting this great dance classic by a true diva - DAVEDJ

  • Church Disco Style!

  • great almost as great as dont leave me this way and theres a guitr part that sounds kinda rock and roll. disco was closer to rock and roll then the crappy post disco dance music of the last 30 years,

  • I can't get this damn song outta my head!

  • This song wasn't a hit on the POP charts. But Love's Masterpiece as well as a few other tracks off of the TGIF's sound track were BIG DANCE HITS in the CLUBS!!!

  • very underrated song.

  • I AGREE!!!

  • To me THIS is Thelma' s best song, from a great soundtrack.

  • YEAP!!!

  • at 146 beats per minute awesome dance music to shread -sweat those pounds ..weeeeeeeeee......

  • OMG -- I used to love this song. It has been a long time (really long time) since I heard this song. It's a shame it didn't make it big.

  • Thelma Houstons version was recorded 1st and released in 1978 as opposed to Jessica Wiliams version which was released in 1979!!! Thelma Houston's has a great gospel dance energy feel...the Jessica Williams version is cliche disco without the passion...

  • Classic joint from a classic film although to be honest I like Jessica williams original version better

  • Good slap breakdown at 2:55...

  • Yeap, I hear ya!!!! That's what pushed me over the edge when I first heard this song. I was 12 years old.
