you play so bad! Most of player play AOE1 complete the TOOL AGE in 10' and complete the BRONZE AGE in 14'.

in my opion most important resource is stone for a evry simple reason you trade for gold so thats gold trees theres alwasy a ton of expect in a few maps and food can be gotten from trees from farms meaning stone is most important

you must try different ways of strategy until you find the one that fixs you...i have found mine and now i can win 1v7 on the hardest mode after 6 years gaming ;)

my strategy is defending but i cant tell you how it works ;) (secrets) just try everything...from military units to the best upgrades...i cant help more...you'll find them on your own.. ;) gl &hf

@KaiPoteSkas I'm a complte turtler. I love to turtue and to boom as well. i hate rushing it's not so fun fighting civvies while you can wait and get to fight war elephants and that sort of thing. i normally put a wall around my base all the way.

Nah medium is ok, just make sure you take advantage of what civilization you use and have a decent amount of villagers. I kinda like shang.they get 30% off for making villagers.

i'm not going to ignore you...that's a pretty good tip mate. I never played online though and this was in skirmish.

U need 20-30 villagers and on hard/moderate mode you could win with the stone age if the map is small by not making any villagers and using them to scout until you find the enemy town centre then build a barracks close to the enemy town centre. Send your villagers to get alot of food and just keep making clubmen and after you have 3 start sending them to the enemy town centre. After a while they will get annoyed cuz your clubmen keep killing there villagers and all there.Then you get attacked
