Really? Any sort of wind (air conditioner/fan) can make it a handful, but indoor in a gym, the thing flies itself!
I also moved my battery around a bit to get it flying "right" I move it forward if I want to fly outside to give it a little more speed, and move it back when I'm indoors to slow it down a bit.
Thanks. Flying inside the house with an RC airplane is something that I've always wanted to do. A gym has too much room and the obstacles around the house keep me on my toes.
Nope, I haven't had to glue any covering and flying around inside the house, I've ran into all kinds of things and everything is still in one piece. I do have a small tear in the wing, but that's about the extent of any sort of damage.
Your correct, there is no programming at all, or at least in my case anyway. Once the transmitter is bound to the receiver everything should work correctly. You may have to reverse something, but the throttle/rudder/elevator channels will all be correct.
Good luck, doode -- these things are flying (no pun intended) off the shelves. My LHS had one BNF and one RTF. I got the RTF because I have no other spread spectrum stuff. Once I get a DX7 I can bind it to the Vapor as well as a few other rides.
Yeah I figured that out real quick. However, I was able to find one of the BNF's on Ebay from Earls Hobby Hangar. They have them on their website too.
i have one of those it flys good outside if there is no wind but is better inside and thay are pretty durable and easy to fix and they keep going

Question: How does the BNF work? There is no programming at all? How does the transmitter have the elevator / rudder information? Thanks.

You can get it at Horizon Hobby's website. Since I had my own radio, I got the Bind-N-Fly version.
