@chimaera117 If you mean recording albums wise, you're right. Slipknot already had a lead vocalist before Corey joined. Later, Corey got back together with Stone Sour which is probably why you think he joined them after Slipknot. I'd say their first 2 albums were the best and then it got to be about what Corey wanted and fucked their whole sound up.

@pizzahut10193 I'm not just talking about his singing. He use to sing on the first two records but in a heavier way. The melodies have changed and become more toned down and more like stone sour. Get Inside could easily be confused as a Slipknot song though it seems the more albums stone sour and slipknot make, the more stone sour creeps into the creative process. In my opinion, the first two albums were great but the 3rd and 4th were just not improvements.

But if we're talking about S/T album and ComeWhat(Ever)May - they'are definitely Post Grunge with some Hard Rock influences, very amazing staff which is very rare nowadays.
