5) What kind of wood is used? Is it laminated or raw?

I'm looking at this gun as a collection piece and I have some questions:

1) Can you remove the part at the bottom of the grip where you screw in the CO2 tank? What does the bottom of the grip look like when removed? Can the cord be removed and what is it made of?

2) Possible to shoot a few paintballs without a hopper?

3) What kind of metal is the paintball loading tube made of? Possible to saw down IYO?

4) Would the mag fit replica or deactivated ammo that a real AK would use?

@GreenMan1986x 1. Yes, I have not removed it, the cord is like a braided metal. 2. I have not tired but you should be able to. 3. It's metal, not sure what type? 4. Yes it is from a real AK. The wood parts are also from a real AK so they are solid wood.

@GreenMan1986x if you really want a replica ak you should buy an airsoft Real Sword type 56 it is real wood and steel, and is made with the same parts used in the real gun

@switchingtomac well actually black bodied/all metal airsoft guns are perfectly legal/available here in Canada, its just the cbsa that has a problem with them. i own 4 full metal airsoft guns. 3 are AEGs and one is a gas blowback m4 rifle.

You should always try to get the velocity as close to the 280 or 300 as you can, its just becouse the fields wont allow you to shoot as hard as you want

FPS really isn't important with a gun like this since no field will ever let you shoot over 300. All the fields around me actually limit at 280, even outdoors.

@100eyes I agree, but I am interested to see what the rubber "re-balls" do on different targets to see if they would be effective in a non-leathal force situations and having higher FPS would help in this instance.
