  • The sound of the Gibson is sparkling and a little bit more edgier than the Martin) I also feel that the Gibson is easier to play.

  • very nice video!

how would you compare the jypsy jazz strings with the 85/15?

  • @mariosyjp Much more bright, strong mids and strong attack!

  • @vmountain that's odd, i'd say (judging from the video) that the jypsy are less bright but with more mids

  • what sound differences do you hear between a Hd28vs and a Hd28v in other words what sound difference does the shorter scale length make? Like your playing

  • @georyans Haven't played with a HD28V but played with a D28 and i can tell you there is a huge difference in bottom end (much more defined in HD28VS) though D28 has much more mids clarity

  • It looks like if the Gibson got new strings compared to the Martin. I am not impressed by the Martin

  • both very nice sounding guitars, and some nice playing as well,,i have a soft spot for martin but that gibson has aged well in sound

  • @haselock1963 I agree - till i got my hands on that gibson I was a "Martin" guy but this LG-2 has a great middle freq response and a very fast response!! (to some extent it is also because of the Gypsy Jazz strings - I will try them soon with Martin). Thanks for the comment!

  • Two great sounding guitars! Nice video too.

    I think i know them well,btw LOL...
