I made my 2nd quilt using this tutorial. Thank you so much for your AWESOME tutorials. My dresden turned out beautiful and I am getting ready to start my next one! I love ordering from your shop. Very fast shipping!
It's always nice to find a teacher whose mind works like your own. It makes learning much easier! You do an excellent job of explaining yourself and you "re-purpose" things as well, like I tend to do. Good teachers are hard to find, but you're definitely one! Thanks for doing these videos!
Hi Jenny. Another great and informative tutorial. I bought this ruler some time back from your company and now I feel inspired and educated enough to actually give it a try. Love all your tutorials. Please keep them coming. You have taught so many of us and you make it seem so doable. Thanks! Hugs, Suzy
This such a great idea! Every new tutorial I watch I want to start that one too! This is the most inspiring site I have ever found. I' m addicted to this site! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!
Excellent tutorial! I've been wanting to replicate a Dresden Plate quilt my grandmother had, after watching your tutorial I am much more confident I can do it. Lois Heron
Hi there,I love your show.thank you for Dresden plate idea.i was in lots pain so
i was watching your tutorial and made all 16 blocks of Dresden plates.
it took me all day long too do that.well i ve been trying to keep up with this time and going too fast for me.but, you are right about the chain stitch goes really fast.
Thank you , that was easy to follow and informative I was always thinking to learn this but didn’t know how , and lucky me I found your channel on y-t , thanks a lot again for all your videos and the time you spent to make them available to us here . so appreciated !
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm new to quilting and have been wanting to start my Dresden Plate quilt, but was a little daunted by the edges of the petals, but I'm so excited about the petal tip! :)
I am NEW to quilting but have completed the blades for 2 complete dresdens and I am HOOKED. I love it I have to finish them. I LOVE MSQC! You are my FAVORITE! GO, Jenny!
I've bought the fabric, I've bought the ruler, but still didn't understand what to do, UNTIL I watched your video. Thank you so much. A picture is always worth 1000 words, but a video is worth a billion bucks!
@missmaine76 That fabric is Sweet by Urban Chicks. We love it too! The line is from a coulple of years ago...so you will have to search to find it! Good luck and thanks for your kind words:)
I never would have imagined this to be so simple! Can you show us, do they have a template for wedding ring quilts? I have one which was passed tom me from my Great Grandmother and the pieces were cut from her seven siblings clothes. I was inspired to learn to quilt by this blanket. Please help me carry on the tradition with wedding quilts for my daughters!
My Grandmother made Dresden Plate quilts. I remember them on our beds when I was a little girl. Grandma would make them from our worn out clothes. She even made one using old neck ties! Recently I made the baby quilt from one of your 4 part tutorials. It wasn't difficult at all, thanks to you! Now I am ready to start this Dresden Plate technique. Once again, you've made it look do-able! I can't wait to get started! Thank you Jenny for making these wonderful tutorials! I simply love them.
Can't wait to try this quilt. I will try to make my own template, Jenny is just the best instructor. I've watched about 50 of the Missouri Quilt Co. videos. they are all great.
Very helpful! I've been wanting to do the Dresden Plate, but I have felt intimadated to try it. I've not been quilting very long. Thanks so much for the demo..

Hey I would love to know how to use the big quilt rulers. I was given one and I have no idea how to use one. Its big and square about 12" square I think. Its unlike any "Ruler" I know.
So beautiful! How many of the finished blocks would one need to make a queen size quilt?

Lovely tutorial! I do have a question...Do you hand stitch all the way around the plate and also in the ditch of each one before machine quilting?
Thank you for your intuitive videos! :-)
