just arrived back from Killarney 5hrs ago, after a 6 hr drive and still loving it, despite the leg cramps =D
The town is crowded and cramped during the day but when u get into the country away from that the Milligicuddy Reeks are so dramatic a sky-line no-matter where u go they envelope you like a huge comforting arm and that gives a magical nature to the area.
We luved the evening Street performers in the Town and we hope to come back soon.
Courtney's pub was part-owned by my Wife's aunt's family(by marriage) at one time. I ate at Mike's Takeaway(The red building to the left of Courtney's-just out of frame on this clip) when we visited in 2004. I ate there after many pints at about 12:30am, they were VERY friendly and helped fill my munchie cravings. Highly recommended if any of you visit Killarney in the near future....
wow i miss that place so much, hopefully i will be going back next year around St. Patrick's Day and maybe stay an extra week after our group leaves. Scruffys was Ok, i liked O'Connors, Mc Sorleys, The Grand?, and there was a Pub (Red Building) that was in this video at the beginning when it zoomed in, can't remember what it was called.
Thanks very much for the clip. For me this is really a trip down memory lane. Have been on these streets many times, and seeing this brings good ol' memories back to life. Keep it real.

It's a ripoff town, if any event comes to Killarney they hike the prices up even further.

I spent there last summer. There are loads of foreigners, especially Poles and Russians in Killarney
