The detachable head thingy is so the air is focused in a small straight line so when you are using it to give yourself a blow out (not a jersey shore blow out lol) it will direct the air on the round brush!

You should use a brush when you blow dry your hair! You mentioned that's what your stylist does (as does mine) so why don't you do the same? It makes it go quicker and helps straighten as it dries!

You shouldn't put the round brush right away to your hair if its really wet. At first you should not use the detachable thing, and blow dry your hair some without it then use it with the round brush once its kinda damp. It will damage your hair a lot more! Just a tip! Love the video! (:
