I am getting the same truck only black and doing the same deleates .....any issues with the deleates or smarty ????? How's the tranny and clutch holding up ??? Keep the videos comin my friend ;-)
@abikerinpa I've had no issues. The clutch will slip when you add any power, but that is normal for the stock clutch in these trucks. In this video I'm running the Smarty 30hp tune and obviously it's still very driveable as is. Once in awhile the clutch will start to slip and I just back off a little. It mainly slips when building up a lot of power at low RPM. A clutch upgrade will take care of that.
@dieselworkin .... like i say i am getting a truck very simular to yours and deleating it , question is , i do not know all that much about the smarty ....but ...does that smarty stay hooked up or do you download it to the truck and then disconnect ???
@abikerinpa You can disconnect the Smarty from the OBD port after you download to the truck. Then you just plug it back in if you want to change settings or return to stock.
