Nice video.............God forbid I should go out to buy it, and fall and break a bone or someting.............I could call the rabi and have him schlup me to the hosipital or something............I liked this, you know..
This is very helpful! Wonderful display too not too dark I can see everything. Do you know where I can buy a green screen for cheap? Thanks for the really helpful video! really cool
Thanks! A cheap green screen? Sure: Check the children's bedding section at your nearest department store for a pure green bed sheet -- that was my first green screen. ;)
It depends which is best for you. Premiere is more powerful for frame-level editing, if you need it. Pinnacle is great for general use, and is easier to use. This is why I use both.
They're usually either green or blue. This is because a pure green or pure blue isn't found in normal skin and hair colors. Keep in mind it's important to pay attention to what the person is wearing, that it doesn't contain a close blue/green that matches your background.
Thats an easy one... Sony Vegas is the best on the market. Although Pinnacle Studio is nice. Sony Vegas is like $300 but is well worth it. I use Pinnacle Studio because it is more cost effective.
i disagree i use pinnacl and find it great value for money but i dont disagree on pinnacle i disagree on the vegas comment i like vegas and i do use it but i would by far say that final cut pro for the mac is better and always i will choose premiere pro and avid editing programs (pinnacle is just a branch but avid do better (more expensive versions)
Crap, I accidentally hit "Delete" instead of "Reply" apparently... sorry.
The question was something like how to animate titles. I'm not sure how much you need to animate them, but if all you need to do is move/resize them, then you can do that with keyframes. But most other special effects would probably require special (other) plugins... I'm not sure, cuz as I said, I use Premiere for most of it.
You are welcome. I guess what makes me most upset with Pinnacle is that they offer a bare-bones version and then you have to get "activation codes" for normal stuff you need to operate, like MPEG4 input. They didn't use to do that. Adobe has it's issues too, the customer support is the worst I've ever seen but they put together a great product. Played with it all night, never crashed and was easier than I thought. Take care. Dan
I've used Pinnacle for years but just switched to Adobe because Pinnacle nickle and dimes you to death with any "extra features" For example Chroma Key costs $49, the same as Pinnacle 11 cost! Duh? If I wanted to spend $100 I would just get Adobe Premiere, the gold standard.
I'm not sure which spam email you are looking at, but, Adobe Premiere costs $800. Neither "nickel and dime" because you only purchase THIRD-PARTY PLUGINS for extra cost if you so CHOOSE to, and neither come from Pinnacle or Adobe. For someone with so many years of experience, you'd already know that.... ;)
Sorry but Adobe Premiere ELEMENTS 4.0 is only $99. Try a FREE download of it from Adobe dot com and I'll bet you will switch. By the Way the EXTRA PLUGINS were PINNACLE not 3rd party. I've been using Adobe all night with the free trial and I'm already convinced even after using Pinnacle for several years. Not even a close match. Chroma Key is NOT built into Studio 11, Only Studio 11 PLUS and Stidio 11 Utimate. Hope this clears up things.
It does, thanks, because I have Studio 11 Ultimate. ;) But for the record, I do all my real editing in Adoble Premiere Pro (as it says in the video), and have for over 10 years. I've added Studio to my arsenal just a year ago to try it out, and certainly there are advantages to both programs. (I never tried Elements as I have the full version already). But thanks for clearing that up.
This video is GREAT, taught me alot about these programmes, and gave me a few laughs :), loved the green screen, bit, I had a real giggle, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. xx
Who knows Adobe Premiere or Pinnacle Studio which one can do more professional effect and video?

Which effect was that that creates color on the subject with a balck and white background?
Jegejig 4 years ago
A lot of people have asked me that.
I found it under Video Effects > BWPLUGINS 2 > "AutoRoto"
It may be premium content you'd have to purchase, I forget...
