My father had his company picnics at Conneaut in the 1960's and early 70's. Dad took me on my very first coaster ride in 1970 when I was 8...........on the Blue Streak. I have great memories of feeding the deer under the coaster construction and hearing the "clankity-clank" echo throughout the many trees that were nestled around it. (I loved the train ride too!)

I think what the park must do to really thrive is add a modern thrill ride. Otherwise, thrill-seekers like me will leave it in the dust and go elsewhere.

@MICmasterstorm Consider Kennywood, home to 3 classic woodies, as well as Phantom's Revenge and Sky Rocket. If I could only go to 1 Pa park, I'd go there b/c there's so much more to ride.

my church would go there for our picknic* every year rain or shine. i don't know how many times i road in the front and last seat. this video brings back good times haha.

I hope this park can hold on till 2012. I will hopefully visit this park as well as Waldameer for the first time and making a revisit to Kennywood then. I'm going to KI and BGE this year, then SFoT for their 50th anniversary next year, then these parks.

@woodencoasterfan i live in erie so i can go to waldameer like 20 times a summer which is how many times i normally go but its a good value

In malls a little ride is like a motion simalator but its for kids. it's called a kiddie coaster and one of them is blue streak! at cedar point. I think they are the same.
