@Thesportyspike No just using your aviator or other type of sun glasses will not protect you against any type of lasers. LASER Safety goggles have special filtering optics that block a chunk of wavelengths either a singular wavelengths or duel wavelength. And every Laser goggle is rated at a certain Optical Density, which is a measure of how much light is at a specified wavelength. e.g.. these Orbtronic Goggle has a O.D of 6 @ 532NM and a O.D of 4 @ 445nm.
